We are thrilled to support the next generation of chemists by announcing our efforts with Beyond Benign—Green Chemistry for a Sustainable Future and educators Cynthia Woodbridge (Georgia Gwinnett College) and Mark Mason of Toledo) to develop a ChemFORWARD learning module for Beyond Benign's Green Chemistry Teaching and Learning Community (GCTLC). The module consists of 3-lesson units that aims to help instructors teach students how to use the ChemFORWARD platform to obtain hazard information for specific chemicals, and to identify safer chemicals to replace chemicals of concern in research and in product formulations. #GreenChemistry #saferchemisty #nextgenchem
New resource! ⭐️ This learning module is designed to build knowledge of #GreenChemistry and experience with ChemFORWARD’s game-changing online platform and chemical hazard assessment tool, through which users can identify and eliminate chemicals of concern, avoid regrettable substitutions, and design safer products from the outset. Beyond Benign teamed up with ChemFORWARD to develop the module that will help educators teach students how to use the ChemFORWARD platform. This open-access module can help prepare the future workforce by teaching students how to use hazard evaluation tools to understand and address hazards in chemical design.
