China-based inventors are filing the highest number of generative artificial intelligence patents, a new WIPO report shows: https://lnkd.in/ex_8DPnM. The US, Republic of Korea, Japan and India comprise the rest of the top five locations, the WIPO Patent Landscape Report on Generative AI found. Investment in intangible assets is growing fast and spreading globally. The first-ever World Intangible Investment Highlights, published in partnership with Italy’s Luiss Business School (LBS), finds that over the past 15 years, investment in intangible assets – like brands, designs, data and software – has grown three times faster than investment in physical assets.
