Throughout the month our teams gathered around shared tables to celebrate love, united by the universal language of food. 🍎🍊🍌 The Wichita State University team delighted their community with a surprise Pride charcuterie pop-up adorned with a rainbow of snacks. Guests enjoyed delicious crinkle-cut cheddar, carrots, and strawberries while sipping rainbow-colored fruit-flavored drinks. 💚💙💜 Meanwhile, our teams at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) spread love by handcrafting rainbow fruit skewers of fresh grapes, kiwis, blueberries, and pineapples to hand out to the Mustang community. 🍭🍭🍭 At The George Washington University, students grabbed lollipops, cupcakes, and cookies at a Pride-themed Sweet Shoppe. As Pride Month comes to a close, our teams remain committed to embodying the values of respect, authenticity, kindness, and love, for all. Thank you for celebrating Pride with us. 💕🏳️🌈

Uniting for good is what the Southeast Missouri State University dining team does best. The team recently came together for their second walk in the annual Walk MS event, where they raised donations that will contribute to multiple sclerosis research. The SEMO Dining team includes several associates and family members of individuals impacted by MS, and they are proud to raise awareness and contribute to funding research for the cause. Thank you to all who gave their time and donations!

Today we honor Juneteenth by celebrating freedom, history, and the flavors that unite us around shared tables.   District marketing manager, Devin Davis highlights the important role of food in commemorating Juneteenth, sharing how his mother makes a delicious red velvet cake every year that brings family and friends together in joyful celebration. Happy Juneteenth!

Happy 30th anniversary to Compass Group USA! To celebrate, sectors came together at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC, in the biggest Compass Community Council (CCC) yet. A night to showcase our culinary imagination, the CCC is a quarterly get-together for sectors across Compass to meet in an exchange of ideas, and in this case, celebrate the anniversary 🎉. Our culinarians honored the occasion with an innovative "India Meets Carolina" mash-up menu that featured garam masala BBQ pork kati rolls, mango lassi moonshine, and other delicious items. Thank you to the all-star culinarians who dreamed up the menu. 👩🍳 We are proud to honor Compass Group and recognize their support in enhancing dining across all industries, including higher education.

We had an incredible time sharing insights and gathering around delicious food at NACAS West. Our talented culinarians elevated the Chartwells-sponsored dinner reception with innovative dishes inspired by the Sonoma Coast featuring Ecuadorian wild white shrimp ceviche 🦐 and strozzapreti 🍝. Our friend Chef Jet Tila also joined the fun with an inspired Korean BBQ menu, including short ribs, cold soba noodles, and more. 👨🍳 We’re excited about another year of partnering with NACAS and sharing our innovations with our professional peers. A huge thank you to our team and chefs for their exceptional culinary contributions!

Congrats to our creative team for winning a silver Telly Award for best use of Instagram Stories in a brand video! The Telly Awards 🏆 honors excellence in video and television from over 13,000 entries across five continents, and we're thrilled to be chosen for this award.   Social media is a big part of our guests' lives. We are honored to be recognized for the video’s creativity, alignment with trends, and authentic connections, which is a direct result of the culture our passionate people are building on campus.   Cheers to all those who contributed to the video for their outstanding work. 🏆

As a proud mother to a member of the LGBTQ+ community and an ally, Andrea Barry Johnson, our Mid-Central Division President, honored Pride with her daughters last week at the Pride Art Walk 🌈 in Denver, Colorado.
