  Everything ends.  We are about to wrap up a long-term partnership that we, to put it simply, have outgrown.  Ending a partnership says a lot about us, sometimes more so than starting one,  so I wanted to share some tips that we at Venus live by:   💡 Offboard your partner the same way you onboard them. Be communicative and proactive so that the transition is as smooth as possible.  💡 Ask for feedback.  Nobody’s perfect, and the biggest gift anyone (personal or business) can give you is feedback.  What can we do better?  What did we do well?   💡 Say goodbye the right way - thank them, wish them well.  Unless it was a truly bad ending, never burn a bridge.  The world is a small place, especially in Advertisingland.   Whether your partnership was 4 months or 4 years, it’s important to always leave people with a feeling that you’ve enjoyed your time together and you want to stay on good terms. This is a PEOPLE BUSINESS after all! While it’s ok to outgrow each other, it’s never ok to leave someone feeling like you left them holding a bag of 💩 . After all, you never know if/when they might come back into your orbit.

This week I witnessed incredibly speakers at ADPList's annual BeMore festival on Sept 20-21. With AI making it easy to mass produce content (especially text posts/articles), people are turning more to influencers/curators and short-form video.
