Browning the Green Space is a coalition of leaders and organizations, primarily in the New England region, that share the passion to advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”) in clean energy. Our goal is to increase the participation and leadership of Black and Brown people and of women (collectively, “underrepresented groups”) in the clean energy space and beyond (e.g., wasted food, water, agtech) in the Northeast.

Help Build the Greater Boston Clean Energy Workforce: Connect with Graduating HVAC, Practical Electricity, and Weatherization Students 🔊 Browning the Green Space is part of a federally-funded coalition working to connect students in the Greater Boston area with high-quality jobs in the clean energy field. Our Boston-based training institution partners – Franklin Cummings Tech and AACA – are graduating highly-qualified and motivated students trained to be heat pump installers, HVAC/Automation Field Service Technicians, weatherization technicians, electrician’s helpers, and more. A class of students just graduated in May and additional students will graduate in August.
