The MIT Sloan Affinity Groups Alumni Advisory Council supports students and alumni of MIT Sloan affiliated with the Africa Business Club (ABC), Black Business Students Association (BBSA), and Hispanic Business Club (HBC) Alumni.

• Formally mentored two Legatum fellows looking at mobile technology in Western Africa and water collection in East Africa, respectively.
• Informally assisted several other fellows.

As part of the Climate Adaptation & Low-carbon Housing Challenge helped the MIT Solve community select six technology-based solutions that help communities create quality low-carbon homes at scale or adapt to more extreme weather.

The Earthshot Prize – Boston 2022 Host Committee supported host partners the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation and the City of Boston in engaging the region’s communities in the 2022 Earthshot Prize, and in lifting up the story of Boston’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Serve as a judge for the Social Enterprise Track which provides an opportunity for eligible graduate students across Harvard University to explore social entrepreneurship and test ideas for social innovation in a rigorous and supportive environment. These Social Enterprise Track ventures drive social change using nonprofit, for-profit, or hybrid models.

The MIT Climate & Energy Prize (MIT CEP) is the longest running and largest climatetech & energy startup competition for university students all over the world. MIT CEP teams compete for more than $100,000 in Grand Prize and other monetary prizes.
