Amazing to see Travertine's progress and readiness to build a first-of-a-kind project! Congrats to Laura Lammers and the team for their latest financing to commercialize the Travertine Process to tackle sulfate waste from the mining, cement and agriculture industries. We couldn’t be more excited to continue to support alongside Holcim MAQER Ventures, The Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, and Bidra Innovation Ventures. More on how Travertine’s novel electrochemical platform upcycles industrial sulfate waste into components that permanently sequester CO2:
We're excited to announce that we've secured $8.5M to further scale carbon-negative, zero-waste lithium, nickel, and fertilizer production. The funding will help commercialize the Travertine Process, reducing waste and emissions from mining and agriculture, and reducing the carbon intensity of cement production. We are grateful for the support from Holcim MAQER Ventures, The Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, Clean Energy Ventures, and Bidra Innovation Ventures. We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Ivo Steklac as President and CEO of Clean Energy Ventures' portfolio company ConnectDER. Ivo brings decades of relevant experience in the solar, EV charging and DER markets with a strong technology and commercialization background. Ivo will focus on accelerating the scaling of ConnectDER's existing and upcoming suite of meter adapter products in a rapidly expanding solar and EV charging market. ConnectDER will benefit from the massive transformation in the electricity markets which are experiencing unanticipated demand growth, challenging interconnect issues, and slow growth in development of utility scale renewables. DERs are the answer and ConnectDER allows them to be interconnected quickly and affordably without in-home upgrades. The behind the meter data collected by ConnectDER's innovative meter adapter will provide extraordinary insights related to the optimization of distribution grids in the future. We are excited to have Ivo on board and to have Whitman Fulton taking on the role of Chief Product Officer, where his deep expertise will be critical to the growth of the company. https://lnkd.in/eXgYY_sB

Multi-year wait times for EV trucks are slowing the decarbonization of the heavy-duty trucking sector, responsible for 25% of our nation's transportation emissions. That’s why customers are turning to CEV portfolio ClearFlame Engine Technologies to turn existing diesel engines into engines powered by alternative fuels. With install time taking less than a month, Clearflame is able to retrofit diesel engines to run on renewable fuels – getting our mobility heavyweights back on the road ASAP ⬇️
Turn your existing engines into engines for decarbonization. ClearFlame changes less than 5% of engine parts to run on multiple alternative fuels like ethanol, methanol and ammonia - getting customers back on the road in weeks vs. the 1-2 year wait time for EV infrastructure. Check out our infographic to learn more! #sustainability #alternativefuels #cleantech
