About us
Mission: The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth (BAGLY, Inc.) is a youth-led, adult-supported social support organization committed to social justice, and creating, sustaining, and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the GLBT youth community. Overview: Founded in 1980, BAGLY provides a safe, non-exploitative environment where members can make friends, discuss experiences, and receive support, information, and referrals about sexual orientation, gender identity, and other issues of concern. BAGLY’s Boston-based programs include social support, leadership development, and health promotion programs. BAGLY serves as the coordinator of the LGBTQ+ Youth Group Network of Massachusetts, a network of over 15 community-based groups similar to BAGLY throughout the state. BAGLY provides local and national expertise and advocacy in support of programs, policies, and services for LGBTQ+ youth, through community organizing, public education, and state and national movement building initiatives. Serving over 2,500 youth each year through its programs and activities, BAGLY has served over 30,000 young people since its inception. In addition to LGBTQ+ youth support, BAGLY also offers two fee-for-service programs: BAGLY Speakers Bureau and BAGLY's Technical Assistance & Training Opportunities. Both are described in detail in the Products & Services tab.

"Give Them Their Flowers"... We are so lucky to get to partner with Arnold Worldwide year after year on incredible projects and exhibits, and this year's collaboration was their most stunning yet! Thank you, Arnold Worldwide, for your never-ending support of BAGLY and our community of queer and trans youth across Massachusetts! Click through to check out this awe-inspiring portrait series, highlighting many of BAGLY's talented youth leaders.
Giving someone their flowers can mean many things beyond the literal sense–it’s giving someone their spotlight, their grace, their respect, and gratitude. For this community, it's long overdue. As part of our ongoing efforts in supporting LGBTQ+ initiatives and in partnership with our fabulous clients at BAGLY, Inc., we together proudly share, "Give Them Their Flowers," an exhibit featuring seven unapologetic young individuals from BAGLY’s organization who are making a significant impact in the community as well as in their spaces. Enjoy their portraits and take a moment to share appreciation with someone in your lives by giving them their flowers 💐 Special thanks to our incredible participants for sharing their stories and voices with us and for giving us an opportunity to experience their passions and joys. We appreciate you. And thank you to our talented team that brought this all to life! Daniel Irvin Michael Houston, MBA Maria Torres And a big thank you to BAGLY, Inc. for always trusting us in supporting and amplifying their mission and impact within the LGBTQ+ community 🌺

Heels for Hope 2024: $40,000+ Raised for LGBTQ+ Youth!!! Last Friday night marked the 10th Anniversary of Heels for Hope, and it was by far our most successful fundraising year yet... y'all showed up, showed out, and helped us raise over $40,000 to support LGBTQ+ youth! From our fabulous Heels Off Competition, to some incredible guest appearances (a surprise video from Senator Elizabeth Warren!), we had such a blast celebrating Pride with you, and raising money that will go directly to supporting queer and trans youth across Massachusetts. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all who came out for this truly special night! Our very own Youth Leader/Content Creator, Tia Sky, made this fabulous video that premiered during the event... take another watch to hear first hand how BAGLY provides life-saving, life changing programs to queer and trans youth across Massachusetts! https://lnkd.in/esMvJZvr

BAGLY, Inc. reposted this
🌈This year, members of Reebok's Colorful Soles ERG marched in the Boston Pride Parade as guests of BAGLY, Inc. (The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth). 🦄 BAGLY was among 315 groups in the parade from all over Massachusetts. To our surprise, Senator Elizabeth Warren marched alongside BAGLY and even took selfies with the crowd! 👟 Reebok participants all laced up in the Pride DMX Comfort+ shoes.

Thanks to our friends at Zipcar for welcoming BAGLY Youth Leaders to their home office in Boston for a special Pride panel earlier this week! And they aren't done yet... If you book any Zipcar in Boston for tomorrow (Saturday) June 15th, they'll donate $1 to BAGLY for every hour you drive! Thank you for your support, and get ready to Ride with Pride!
In honor of #pridemonth, we hosted BAGLY, Inc. at our home office in Boston. Leaders from BAGLY discussed pronouns, how to be an ally, and how BAGLY makes a difference in the lives of the LGBTQ+ youth. Thank you to Monty, Kyrus/Malek and L from BAGLY, our own Brian Jacobs for moderating the panel, and the ZipQueers ERG for putting on the event.
