    Jejune Gallery's "Artery" Pop-up Exhibit

    My zine, "How to Expand a Quilt," focused on the creation and continuation of queer spaces and activism, was exhibited in a pop up gallery, "Artery," at Warehouse XI in Somerville.

    The gallery included many local artists, with works focused on the following prompt: "The concept of arteries, which carry blood from the heart to the rest of the body, can be metaphorically linked to the drive artists hold to share their work with others. Just as arteries are essential for the circulation of life-sustaining blood throughout the body, artists see their work as a means of circulating ideas, emotions, and perspectives to a broader audience. We serve as the conduits for the flow of creative expression and communication -- utilizing our unique perspectives; sparking conversations, challenging perceptions, and inspiring new ways of thinking."
