First person POV (single)

This book was such a pleasant surprise. It had been waiting on my TBR for such a long time that I'd forgotten the synopsis and went in blind. So SO enjoyable!

My reading notes 📝

• Very easy & quick read
• Strong everything. Strong characters, strong setting, strong story.
• Erica - what a unique MC
• Native American rep
💚 Adam is a nice guy
Fire🔥
• Josephine is a lovely person
• Important topics & conversations

As you can tell from my notes, (view spoiler) Not remembering the synopsis and not having any expectations made this such a fun and immersive experience.

Favourite character: Lindsay.

Lindsay is confident, bold, and very naive and imperfect. I liked her depth and layers.

I appreciate how the author shed light on an almost unknown ailment. I also appreciate the heavy topics and difficult conversations.

I loved how Erica wasn't afraid to question Lindsay's morals and behaviour, even if Erica herself wasn't perfect.

The added romance and Erica's personality added a much needed relief and leveled the balance between light and dark. I thought it was great.
