A juicy, escapist beach read!

I listened to this one (almost non-stop) and was hooked from the beginning. Yes, you will need to suspend belief to enjoy.
It has a political backdrop, but free from politics.
The plot brings nothing new, but there are plenty of gaspy twists, some amusing moments , and a fast paced narration that had some edge to it. This made it easy to listen and get some tasks done!
I will say it is overly dramatic, some things were predictable, and the ending wasn't an absolute wow. The journey was fun though and this was my favorite from these authors so far!
Some aspects reminded me a little of The Housekeeper by Joy Fielding with some revenge mixed in (but was more entertaining) IMHO
