Really disappointing!!!
Can we please stop with these pointless heroines whose only interesting characteristic is that they're 'damaged'? The twists were very predictable, and the plot overly contrived.
I saw all the great reviews and thought I was getting a dark thriller but I ended up having to force myself to finish. In the end all I felt was annoyed and frustrated.

Lots of other readers liked it, and maybe I was too hard on it, but all I kept thinking while listening was that I waisted an Audible credit. Lol.
Yeah, that's not good. Many liked it, but I have my "people" whose reviews I trust and there's you and a few other people saying it's not really worth it. And I'm actually happy I can take off one book of my TBR 😉
