Martes de Nubes / NWN clouds tuesday.

Beautiful purple blossoms during spring. They're only there for a few days though.

Tremendous storm tore my neighborhood apart. 5 minute storm, and it's been sirens and such all night. We have (shockingly) maintained power through it all. Everyone has been walking about checking out the damage.

There were a lot of birds hanging out near Little Round Top. I didn't have my binoculars, unfortunately.

 

There's an American Robin in the tree.

Here I am, again, dipping into the archives. I posted some different compositions from this scene a few years ago, but I think my sensibilities have changed and my processing skills have improved. Anyway, I like this version much better and thought it worthy of posting, since I hope to be out shooting winter scenes again really soon.

To make this supermoon and eclipse even more perfect the sky behind the eclipse in the east was amazing. Here are viewers of the lunar eclipse sitting in their cars at sunrise. I hope they turned around to see this stunning sky too.
