Booths serving foods and selling goods for Sagamihara Music Festival 2007 at Sagami Depot. Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan.
Paper, sealing agent, acrylic, and ink.
I decided an old music box needed a makeover, so I wrote some of my favorite song lyrics in calligraphy (you know, because it's a music box), tore the paper, and collaged everything together.

Matchstick (viral marketing co.) gave me a Zune a few months ago. My expectations of the device were very low, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The UI of the Zune is very slick, as is the Zune software for the PC. It took a while to get used to the software coming from an iTunes world, but once I figured out the Zune way of doing things, I found it very efficient and highly customizable.
The two biggest advantages over the iPod:
- built in FM radio!
- ability to customize podcast setting per podcast
Biggest disadvantage:
- browsing music by genre on the Zune is so bad that I’d call it a deal breaker for me. I always browse my music by genre -> artist -> album. On the Zune, you get genre -> “list of albums sorted by album title”
Review based on Zune 2.5 firmware. Zune 3.0 is out now, so I guess this mini-review is a bit outdated... so be it.
