Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is Lockdown song. I must admit I’m very bad at music… Singing and dancing are a challenge… Also, I can listen to one song for a very, very long time without even noticing that it was playing forever… Luckily for me my husband is the one in charge of music at our home. After all, he is a very talented musician with his own awesome YouTube channel (and if you want to see by yourself here is the link: www.youtube.com/c/NuTrixTheSynthGuy/about). And my husband si truly into electronic music so that is our main lockdown musical genre playing everyday. If i have to name one band it is Daft Punk for sure.
My picture was inspired by electronic music and you can see some kind of device to make music (I have absolutely no idea how does it work so dont ask me…). Of course, Red Lady, who was a very successful DJ few years ago, is here with us since she loves electronic music !!
I hope you will like this picture my friends ! I wish you all an amazing day and a beautiful new week !! See you later !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

"I only know how to approach a place by walking. For what does a street photographer do but walk and watch and wait and talk, and then watch and wait some more, trying to remain confident that the unexpected, the unknown, or the secret of the known awaits just around the corner."

An amazing drum that you can really play, animated & has sounds! I couldn't be more happy as a RL musician! Music is the only thing in this world that gives me hope during uncertainty.

I don't have a "Lockdown song", I have many...
Music is one of the best way to keep my sanity when things go bad in my country during the pandemic, and believe me they have been worst than anyone can suppose.
I love to hear Pop, Rock, Classic between other genders of music. For this theme I have chosen the music of Queen. I know that some lyrics are a bit depressive (as in Bohemian Rhapsody), but others are so uplifiting and the melodies absolutely brilliant.
I found a little wood music box, a special gift from my daughter, that plays some notes of Bohemian Rhapsody.

The spontaneous emergency ordinance of the state of Baden-Württemberg destroys the freedom of children to learn a musical instrument without worrying.
Extra tests, extra forms - and meanwhile the beer gardens and restaurants are overcrowded (the EM sends its regards).
A shame for humanity.

A deserted Burghead beach. Taken at sunset last night after a long beach walk. The soft sound of the incoming tide was like listening to a piece of music...hence the title. Happy bank holiday weekend everyone…

Singing at the Grand Ole Opry in the Mother Church!
The Nashville Music Row sim in Second Life catches the feel of Nashville to the degree that it even has the back stage exit at the Ryman Auditorium that feeds out onto the backdoor entrance to the 2nd floor of Tootsie's Orchid Lounge on Broadway. Nice touch!

Golden star challenge - MAGIC AND FANTASY - March 15 to April 14 of 2016

Listen: the wood thrush's tremulous, sugary voice
as he dips in and out of the box elder; the morning
glories who have thin, scarlet tongues, or the wind
that billows and wants to carry off the umbrella.
We sit under swaying elms enraptured by a Hallelujah
chorus of birds while the neighbors 14 year old girl
practices Mendelssohn; she desires everything, I think,
up-tempo and manic. You can hear the tarantella
wanting to crawl out of her. But her teacher calms her:
espressivo, espressivo, he says, the open window
framing them in a perfect still life. I think again
how music emanates from all that's in motion:
those hollyhocks beside the fence singing, the garden's
baseline so steady underneath us, rivers of barometrical
air that rise and fall and hum at a pitch beyond our ears.
Look at this aria of saffron light; seems each molecule
in this heart shaped leaf is a psalm, if I could hear inside
its embossed veins. How I envy what owls must hear.
Or the red squirrel, or the dog whining a block away
or the fox – red flash at meadow’s edge -- or the mole,
like Milton in his blindness.
--Miguel de O
