Families utilized the outdoor play area in the Children's department for this family Thursday evening craft.
Kayaking with my family and friend, Patty Endicott. We kayaked from Scappoose Bay Marina up Scappoose creek. Had a blast! used the toy water proof camera, but the preloaded film was loaded incorrectly and did not advance correctly. Hence, only a few decent shots. this is another photo of gramp in japan during the war. i was able to figure out where this one was due to the giant statue in the background... the statue is the Great Buddha of Kamakura (known as Daibutsu in Japanese). it's the second largest Buddha in Japan, and one of my favorite photos of all time.
More than 300 community members participate in the Vicenza Chapel Community Friends and Family Day on Caserma Ederle Hoekstra Field Pavilion May 23.
About 50 volunteers helped prepare the event, which included many activities for children, such as face painting and bounce houses, food, music and many giveaways.

The Shepards are cousins from Elyria, OH. They came to visit this weekend. Mom, Judy, daughters Becky and Terri, and Terri's son Bobby.

I saw these babies and I new I wanted to do a photo with them somewhere in my project :) I was looking at some styles of family portraits on flickr when I came along one like this.. so this really isn't my idea :) but i redid it .. haha because thats how great my inspiration is :)
