Lan Su Chinese Garden

The Lan Su Chinese Garden is built in the style of a Ming Dynasty scholar’s garden with winding walkways, a lake, bridges and open pavilions framed by an stone, water, poetry, architecture and plants native to China. It is landscaped with over 250 species of indigenous Chinese plants, orchids and lotuses, a waterfall and a koi-filled lake.
Lan Su Chinese Garden is the product of a collaboration between the sister cities of Portland and Suzhou; it is one the most authentic Chinese gardens outside of China. It is a gem of a garden and a great place to visit on a rainy day!

I've spent the morning pasting the leaves on the ceiling..
They are still there, and I like to looking up and staring at them suspended..
I don't know if I have the strength to remove them :)

My day taking pictures of the lake is coming to an end. Tomorrow is Monday and I'll have to leave this Eden for work.
As its name suggests this lily only flowers for 24 hours. It opened in the morning, flowered all day, closed up in the evening and did not open again the following day. This specimen was one of several in our garden, and I photographed this soon after it had fully opened.

As a solo walker here in North Frontenac Township the 10 items were a bit hard to find but I managed to get out and have fun regardless. This was before I headed out, I put one of the macro filters on the double glass and took a photo of my little rose bush here indoors.
I likely won't submit this but then again who knows. I have few days to decide.
