I pass by this spot almost every day: spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each season modifies this scene to please the onlooker's eyes. Fall, however, is superb with the crispy colours it endows this field with. I hope the scene pleases you too.

As I was sitting there in the old garden greenhouse at B sori, there were many beautiful butterflies fluttering around me and outside the greenhouse.
How beautiful and vibrant they are I thought to myself, it made me think about how in many ways they can be seen as a symbol or reflection of life in itself.
The Butterflies were hovering above the vegetation spreading their wings, and gliding so graciously toward the flowers, the trees and light in the distance.
It also made me reflect about how fragile butterflies are, as life is too, it comes and it goes so quickly. Time is precious, therefore we must remember to enjoy what life and nature has to offer. We have to embrace each day before it flutters away just like the butterfly.

In Canada, Family Day is celebrated on the 3rd Monday of February which in 2022 falls on February 21.
Family Day is not a national statutory holiday, it is only observed in New Brunswick, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan and in British Columbia. [...].
Family Day was originally created to give people time to spend with their families but it also provides a day off between New Years Day and Good Friday as they are approximately three months apart.
A good day to be sitting in a coffee shop watching pedestrians and slow traffic. In downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Oke er was sneeuw gevallen. Verder was het een vieze papzooi met weinig sfeer en licht. Nee dan die dag, 22 dec.2007. Het vroor tot in de middag en er hing rijp in de bomen. Een machtige dag om foto's te maken.

22-12-2007, there was frozen fog on the trees and a blue sky. It was just a few hours. It was marvelous.

The Cosmos Has It!
At least they look a bit like the cosmos flower. Still blooming in mid-November as night temperatures near freezing. Amazing!
