Bai, the antioxidant-rich hydration beverage brand, just launched their newest flavor in their limited drink line. The brain behind their latest creation, Raspberry Lemon Lime? None other than Hollywood’s current favorite movie star, Sydney Sweeney.

In the past year, Sweeney has starred on the big screen in Anyone But You, Madame Web and Immaculate, premiering later this month. She has also embraced stints as last week’s host of Saturday Night Live as well as recognizable TV roles in Euphoria and The White Lotus. Now, you’ll see her face on the bottle of Bai’s brand-new sip.

What inspired this fruity refreshment? We were able to ask the actor herself at the company’s launch event in New York.

“Raspberries are one of my favorite berries, so I really wanted to create something in that world.” Sweeney tells EatingWell. “So when we were dreaming up a bunch of different combinations, I tried 20 different ones and this one was my favorite.”

We adore the combination of raspberry and lemon, which is why we have created drinks like our Raspberry Lemonade and No-Sugar-Added Raspberry Iced Tea. The new electrolyte-packed Bai flavor itself presents subtly sweet and tart notes which will please raspberry lovers.

We asked the star about her morning routine, and one thing came to her mind that she does each day and cannot skip.

“I'm pretty adamant about washing my face,” she says. “I feel like washing your face is always super important before you go to bed and when you wake up. It helps clear my skin.” As Sweeney notes, washing your face is also an important component of a beneficial evening routine

Speaking of healthy lifestyle habits, we also asked for her fitness routine and if she had any favorite forms of exercise—Sweeney had a clear top-three list.

“I like to hike, I go hiking all the time,” she explains. “I'm into a lot of water sports, and then I do solidcore which is a really cool, fun workout.”

Solidcore is a type of full-body workout taught by branded studios of the same name, and it’s inspired by Pilates. Pilates itself has some amazing health benefits, including building core strength, balance and flexibility. Plus, hiking on the regular and water sports like water skiing and surfing are both great ways to incorporate joyful movement into a healthy lifestyle.

We loved taking a glimpse into the actor’s daily wellness routines, and we’re excited to see more from Sweeney through her upcoming films and new presence in the food and beverage industry.
