Racial & Ethnic Disparities (RED)

ABOUT RED

Racial and Ethnic Disparities (RED) aims at reducing the high numbers of youth of color in the juvenile justice system.

Douglas County works with community members and systems in the juvenile justice system to address bias, prejudice, and racism, as to address the high levels of black and brown youth who come in contact with law enforcement.

RED Live is an online interview series aimed at bringing together experts, community leaders, and stakeholders to discuss progressive ways to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in the juvenile justice system in Douglas County.
