Super Bowl LVIII was full of cinematic moments as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in a stunning come-from-behind victory and Usher took the stage during the halftime show.
Here are some of the best photos from the game.
Country superstar Reba McEntire sang the national anthem.
McEntire's custom blazer and sparkly pants were designed by Ralph Lauren.
The 49ers gained an early lead, setting the score at 10-3 at the end of the first half.
Running back Christian McCaffrey scored the first touchdown of the game, striking a triumphant pose upon reaching the end zone.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was photographed in a heated exchange with head coach Andy Reid during the second quarter.
After Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco fumbled the ball, Kelce appeared to knock into and yell at Reid before teammate Jerick McKinnon pulled him away.
When asked what he said, Kelce told AP that he would keep the exchange "between us."
"I was just telling him how much I loved him," Kelce joked.
Usher performed hit after hit during the halftime show.
Usher wore an array of designer looks and was joined onstage by guest performers Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Lil Jon, Ludacris, Will.i.am, and Jermaine Dupri to sing hits such as "OMG" and "Yeah!"
With a tie at the end of the fourth quarter, the game went into overtime.
New NFL overtime rules dictate that both teams get a chance to possess the ball, according to NFL Football Operations.
The 49ers regained the lead during overtime with a field goal that brought the score to 22-19.
In a dramatic finish, Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman scored the winning touchdown with seconds left in the game.
The 3-yard pass thrown by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes brought the final score to 25-22.
Mahomes later told NFL Network that Hardman was so shocked that he didn't even realize that he'd caught the winning touchdown at first.
"I said, 'Dude, we just won the Super Bowl!'" Mahomes said. "He blacked out, he had no idea. He didn't even celebrate at the beginning."
Allegiant Stadium erupted with red and yellow confetti.
Chiefs players ran onto the field to celebrate the win and poured a cooler of purple Gatorade on their head coach.
San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk appeared disappointed as he walked off the field.
"We did things that weren't characteristic to what we usually do as a team and I think in the end that's what hit us, and it was too much to overcome," Juszczyk said in a post-game interview, NBC Sports reported.
Kelce and Taylor Swift shared a kiss during the celebrations.
Swift, who has been dating Kelce for over six months, watched the game from a VIP box at Allegiant Stadium with pals Ice Spice, Blake Lively, and Lana Del Rey, as well as members of the Kelce family.
Mahomes was named Super Bowl MVP for the third time in his career.
Mahomes joins the ranks of NFL legends Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw, and Troy Aikman as the only starting quarterbacks who have won the Super Bowl at least three times, CBS Sports reported.
