Author and Illustrator school visits
Avid Bookshop can bring authors and illustrators to your school for free--all you have to do buy is books! We’ve helped to bring award-winning authors and illustrators like Dan Santat, Jason Reynolds, Mac Barnett, Veera Hiranandani, Bethan Woollvin, and Christian Robinson to local schools, just to name a few. Are you a teacher or librarian looking to order books for your classroom or media center? Email our school and institutional sales specialist, Ian McCord, who will be in touch about your order or price quote. We can sometimes offer a base 10% educator discount, with higher discounts for larger bulk orders, depending on order circumstances.
Book fairs
We would love to host a book fair at your school or at our shop to help fundraising efforts! We order from several different publishers and offer a high quality, diverse selection of books with a variety of reading levels and prices.
