I had been dealing with a bad shower clog for a couple months after unsuccessfully using “Drano” clog gel remover. I also tried the old baking soda and vinegar trick that previously showed success on toilet and sink drains. But the shower drain was way too much.
I bought this product after seeing the top reviews and combined it with a shower snake product from a different seller. This product comes with two containers, each container having two “servings” of treatment. So all in all, there are 4 different “servings” that you can use. I followed the instructions and poured one “serving” into my shower drain and let it sit overnight. In the morning, I let the hot water run for about 3 minutes. Unfortunately, no improvement showed. At this point, I used the shower snake to try and pull out the items clogging the drain, and I was able to get a moderate amount of gunk out. However, I ran the shower water again which was a mistake looking back, because I hadn’t removed all the gunk. So instead, the gunk just ended up getting deeper into the drain pipes. The clog was now even worse than when I began. At this point, I figured I’d just use another serving of Green Gobbler Liquid & Hair remover. I didn’t have high expectations and was already planning on the back of my mind to contact them for a possible return of the remaining product. So I poured in the second “serving”, let it sit while I went to work, and came back to run the hot water about 8 hours later. To my surprise, the water was draining completely normally! It had worked! The problem I was dealing with for two months was finally gone. And at a total price of about $35 (between this product and the shower snake), it was well worth it! Imagine the cost of hiring someone to do it for you, not to mention the headache of constantly having a clogged shower drain (it required me to clean my tub much more frequently due to the mold that the sitting water caused).
To summarize: This stuff truly works. But I would definitely use it in combination with a shower snake. Don’t follow my mistakes though, attempt to clear as much of the hair/gunk using the snake FIRST. After that, pour a serving of this Green liquid. Leave it overnight! Run the water, if it still hasn’t worked, do not fear! Use another serving, let sit for another 6-12 hours, and run the hot water again. If all else fails, you still have two servings to use. At which point, if that doesn’t work, you may have a bigger issue at hand...but I highly doubt the majority population will get to that point. Try it out, worst case, this looks like a reputable company that will offer you a refund if it hasn’t worked as advertised.

Poorly shipped
I’ve been using this product for a few years. I like that it is safer on the pipes. It doesn’t seem to be working as well as when I first started, but that may be due to other reasons.What I am upset about is how it was shipped to me and that is why I gave it so few stars. The bottles come wrapped in plastic. Whoever packed them, just placed it in the box with nothing to prevent it from moving around in the box. The box was trashed when I got it and there were wet marks. I knew one of them leaked. Sure enough, it did. Normally there is a white cap that is hard to remove to keep the liquid intact. I believe this could’ve been prevented.Amazon refunded me with no problems.
