Fill the built-in reservoir with hot or warm water from your showerhead or faucet. The heat from the warm water inside the basin directly heats the mirror surface.

The mirror is very sturdy, so the suction power is amazing, especially after my daughters turn the swirling head to adjust to their height everytime they use it. (The swirling head is nice feature, which means its not locked into aiming at one direction like many other mirrors.) I ended up buying another for my bathroom since the first one i bought my daughters wanted it in their shower. It REALLY does stay fogless in a hot shower! Just dump the cold air out of the back, put some hot water in it, and fogless! Takes about 5 seconds.

I had a different shower mirror- it required lifting it out of a bracket to empty it- and then rehang it.
If I missed aligning it- it'd fall. If someone got wild in the shower- it would fall. And after years of that- it was broken- and I looked at getting another.
Saw this- didn't think the suction cup would work well enough- that the tilting to dump- would have it come off the wall. I'm about 5 months into owning it - and that's not even close to what my experiences have been.
I LOVE this mirror - it's easy to empty- fill with my hand shower- and it just works.
No fog.
Great product- really well built in comparison to the old one (which is more expensive btw).
Can't recommend this mirror more.
And- yes- I know this sounds insane for a review of a simple bathroom mirror- but sometimes it's the little things in life that give you the most joy.

I'll start with the downside. The mirror image gets more distorted the farther away you are from it. According to the seller, they opted for a plastic mirror for safety reasons. If you're within about a foot of the mirror, it's a usable image for shaving.

The suction cup works well and is easily installed. My shower is a fiberglass surround, and I use grab bars that have the same type of suction cup mechanism. They are pretty reliable, but sometimes they do need to be reset. I imagine that will be the case for this mirror. I have had it for a couple of months, and it hasn't budged. I don't hang anything from the mirror (such as a razor), so there is no extra weight on it

The fog free aspect of this mirror has worked flawlessly. Filling the reservoir on the back of the mirror is easily done using the supplied beaker. Even in long, hot showers that cause all the other mirrors in the bathroom to fog up, this remains clear. The reservoir is easily emptied by rotating the mirror, so both filling and emptying are done without having to remove it from the shower wall.

So, if you can adjust to a sometimes unstable image (when you are more than about a foot or so from it), the product performs pretty well. Here's looking at you!

I had been using this shower mirror daily for shaving for about 3 plus years before I decided it was time to replace it with a new one. For the most part I found its suction to be very good. Sure, it would lose its suction every now and then, but I think that’s to be expected. I’d just reapply it to the shower wall (no big deal) and it’d be good again for a couple of months or more. With its age it began to show wear so I was pleased that this same mirror was still available to purchase once again. Although it is NOT glass, the reflection back is mirror-like. It looks good in my shower and I am glad to give my endorsement to it.

A little trouble in the beginning but ultimately very convenient and useful

I waited two months to review this mirror and I’m glad I did. The longer I own it the more I appreciate it. When I first got it, I have to admit, I couldn’t figure out how to mount it or where the water reservoir was. Yes, I know, I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed. But once mounted and reservoir figured out it worked fine. It’s stayed adhered to my shower tiles no problem. My shower head sticks out more than this mirror so the mirror doesn’t get in the way. It’s lightweight = plastic so it won’t shatter, but the downside is the optical quality isn’t great. And although the fog issue has been addressed, small droplets of water form on it, obscuring the view.

Although far from perfect I’ve grown used to it and enjoy my personal time in the shower shaving. Anything that makes shaving less tedious is a good thing.

EDIT
A few days ago the mirror separated from the wall and fell into the tub (In the middle of the night of course). I checked the back and it still seemed sticky but it fell again the next day. I’d expected a lot more than seven months use. Subtracting another star.

EDIT II
A few days ago I was contacted by mirrorvana and they are going to send a replacement mirror. A nicely worded email. I’ll install the mirror later and see how it goes.

Does not fog and so far has not fallen off the wall

The design of this shower mirror incorporates a reservoir for hot water that keeps the mirror temperature closer to the surrounding shower temp and thus inhibiting any condensation or fogging. I've had this for three months now and the mirror stays clear even without filling the reservoir! Also, the suction cup that holds the mirror to the wall is very strong. I hang not only my razor on the mirror, but a back scrubbing brush as well and the mirror has stayed well secured to the wall. Note, however, that there is a stem between the suction cup and the mirror that is rather long, so the mirror sits a bit far away from the wall (about 4.5"). This really bugged me at first, because it felt like the mirror was encroaching into my space. It took me a while, but I finally got used to that aspect of the mirror. Overall, a very good buy.

I've used this mirror for about a month, and it stays stuck to the shower wall. Our shower walls are tile, and even when we have forgotten to remove the water from the reservoir from one shower to the next, the mirror stays in place. In warm showers, the reservoir doesn't even need to be filled, it stays fog free on its own. For hot showers, it remains fog free throughout the shower as long as the reservoir is filled.

Really works well. Solid suction cup and design. Does not fog when filled with warm water. 2.0 design solution would be for a tiny drainage hole that allows the water to drip out over half an hour or so so you don’t have to empty it to refill….i think emptying it will weaken it

Ik had mijn twijfels of het wel zou werken zoals het geadverteerd werd.

Ik moet zeggen dat ik wel aangenaam verrast was.
De zuignap werkt heel goed. Ik heb er zelfs moeite mee om het van de tegel af te halen. Dus het zal niet uit zich zelf naar beneden vallen.
En de spiegel zelf? Geweldig!
Ik heb het in de douche gedeelte opgehangen, zodat ik dan mijn hoofd en baard kan trimmen/scheren.
Volgens de instructie moet je warm/heet water erbij doen, zodat het niet beslaat.
Ik heb dat nog niet gedaan en het beslaat nu al niet.

Dit scheelt mij weer een hoop rotzooi in de badkamer met het trimmen bijvoorbeeld.
Ik ga er nog 1 bestellen zodat ik een reserve heb :)
