INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION


STEP 1: LOCATE A DRY SURFACE AND WIPE THOROUGHLY After locating an even and dry surface, wipe thoroughly surface to remove any dirt and moisture. Make sure desired surface is completely dry and without any bumps or gaps before installing mirror. See below for recommended surfaces.	STEP 2: PLACE SUCTION AGAINST DRY SURFACE Place suction cup firmly against desired flat and dry surface. Make sure you keep constant pressure on the suction cup before proceeding to the next step. Please note, unlike classic suction cups, our suction cup is secured only after "locking" the suction. If you try to stick the suction without locking, your mirror will most absolutely fall.	STEP 3: LOCK SUCTION CUP With the suction cup firmly against a dry and flat surface, lock the suction by rotating the knob clockwise (i.e to the right) until you hear or feel a click sound. Congratulations, your shower mirror is now ready to use!	STEP 4: UNLOCK SUCTION (OPTIONAL) If you need to remove the mirror from the wall, simply rotate the suction knob all the way to the left or counter-clockwise to unlock.

I've had this mirror for a year and a half and had to move it once. Since the beginning the suction has been perfect. Even if I bump it, it stays solidly in place. I have had to wipe the mirror occasionally to clean off soap build up but the mirror is still fog free and the magnification is enough that I can shave without my glasses... I have to update this post. The mirror finally got too scratched to shave with after 4 years so I bought another one.

I installed this in our camp trailer, so the wife could put on her makeup. Holds really tightly on the glass of the cabinet mirror... even when the trailer has been driven over some really bumpy roads.

Just make sure to removed the plastic backing from the suction cup, keep your fingers off the exposed cup, and apply to a CLEAN smooth surface. Be sure to turn the suction lock until you hear an audible "click". If it doesn't click, then it is not property locked, and it will eventually fall off.

I was eager to avoid a magnifying mirror that might fall off after the last one I had shattered on the sink and spread tiny shards of glass everywhere. The suction cup on this mirror seems very secure. A simple turn of a knob and it was stuck to the bathroom mirror like glue. But is it just me or do things seem out of focus? Perhaps it's because the mirror is square and not round like other magnifying mirrors I've seen. No matter how close or far away I stand, I feel like I'm struggling to see a clear image. Also, the square shape makes the mirror seem small to me. I have a big head, I guess. Anyway, I think there are better choices for a magnifying mirror, and I recommend sticking to a round one. I'd give it one star if not for the good suction cup mechanism.
