Role Overview

Workforce Professional are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Manager to join their management team. The successful candidate will be CIPD Level 5 qualified and possess substantial experience in the manufacturing sector. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the company attracts, retains, and develops the best talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the company attracts top talent.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits programme.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programmes.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Qualifications And Experience

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification is essential.
  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HR metrics and HR software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
