Brands that slay – it’s been a while! 😍 I have been eagerrrr to get back to this after noticing LOADS on socials recently, I don’t even know where to start… Alright, let's get the football reminders out of the way first, as I know it’s a bit of a sensitive topic. One that came up on my Instagram recently was Nando's UK & IRE take on some football memes – my favorite being the one about those who secretly get water and use the refillable machine (I swear I’m not one of them). It was hilarious and so relatable. And the engagement on that carousel? Through the roof compared to some of their other posts. As a die-hard Nando's fan (seriously, my personality trait is that I only eat chicken), I absolutely love what they do and what they’re about. Brands that don’t take themselves too seriously always win in my book. Simmi B, Rose-Anne Gates, Laura Scott, Sophie Archer, Max Merttens, Cristina Loaiza. Another brand that’s been on my radar for a while is Hismile. When I tell you they’re on my TikTok ALL the time, it’s like an annoying ex you can’t shake off (in the best and most positive way possible, lol). Their marketing is absolutely on point – so eye-catching and appealing that you almost forget it’s just toothpaste and toothbrushes. Standing out in such a saturated market is no easy feat, but they’ve found their lane and stuck with it. Bravo to them! PS – if Kim K approves, so do I. Aleksija Mirkovic, Nik Mirkovic, Claudia Mcleod, Ryan Parker, Koban Jones, Alex Tomic, Sophia Cragnolini, Mark Mazzone. Speaking of Kim K, oh my goodness – SKIMS' Instagram has me in a headlock. It's arguably one of my all-time favorites. Every. Single. Post. Kills it. For one, the inclusivity is on point, featuring a diverse range of models that truly represents everyone. But what really gets me is how consistently sleek and elegant their content is. Every post looks like a masterpiece, planned and executed to perfection. The aesthetic and attention to detail are unmatched. While I know all brand posts are thought out, you can really tell with Skims that they put in that extra effort. I can’t even put into words how obsessed I am. It's like they’ve cracked the code for Instagram and I’m here for every bit of it! Megan Phu, Sabrina Chatlani, Kai E., Katie Marian, Danya Dargham, Julia Collier, Conor Riley. Last on the list for me today has to be Missy Empire. I am absolutely loving the new addition of their weekly ‘Lookbook’ highlight on Instagram. As someone who’s always on the hunt for outfit inspiration (and I know I’m not alone), I think this was a brilliant move. It’s such a smart way to engage customers without making it feel like a hard sell. Their lookbooks are a perfect blend of trendy and accessible, making it easy for followers to see how they can incorporate Missy Empire pieces into their own wardrobes.
