Want to figure out what your dream job is? Pretend you have 9 lives. The rules of this exercise are straightforward: ✔️Assume you have nine lives, and in each of those lives, you must work. ✔️You will not win the lottery, marry rich, or receive a huge inheritance. ✔️Whatever skills and education are required to perform each job, you possess them. ✔️However much money you need to make to be happy, you make it. ✔️Every job has equal prestige. Now, jot down what 9 jobs you would hold. 📝 It may be tempting to consider the barriers to these positions and hold yourself back with a “but”. The idea of this exercise, though, is to identify your interests. While those “buts” may be realities that will make some of the roles you choose less attainable, you’ll still be able to spot important themes.
