A decade strong, doing things differently. #StartFund began as an idea to do away with tedious processes and centralised systems in the #humanitarian sector. Ten years later, we continue to disrupt the status quo through rapid funding, localised responses, and collective action. We take pride in the work we have done in the past years, but we could not have achieved it without our network of passionate changemakers. A huge appreciation to everyone who made #StartFundat10 possible! You keep us inspired to keep on!

The Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe has received a payout of over $16.8 million from ARC Ltd. The country faces severe food insecurity as a result of prolonged drought and El Niño conditions in the region. The impact on the agriculture sector has been devastating, leading to massive crop failures and loss of livestock. “We are honoured to stand with the Government of Zimbabwe and our partner organisations during this time of crisis,” said Lesley Ndlovu, CEO of ARC Ltd. Replica partners, World Food Programme and Start Network, both took out a policy on behalf of Zimbabwe too, and received payouts of $6.1 and $8.9 million respectively. These combined payouts will increase the reach and impact of ARC’s recovery efforts and help the government reach the most vulnerable populations. #Zimbabwe #Environnement #ChangementClimatique #CatastrophesNaturelles #Soutien #Célébration #Partenariats #Collaboration #Versement Ibrahima Cheikh DIONG Lindelwe Lesley Ndlovu Malvern C.
