💭 Help shape the future of valuation! We are updating the Red Book Global Standards to ensure it reflects market changes, and future-proof practices in the public interest and aligns with the new International Valuation Standards (IVS). This follows months of insights gathering, including a comprehensive member survey last year. Help us finalise the proposed changes and ensure the Red Book remains a trusted resource for best practice, consistency, and transparency in valuation. Thank you to all our members for participating. Your engagement and contributions are what make these gatherings so valuable.
Wonderful to see so many members attend the RICS 2024 AGM in person and online last Thursday, demonstrating productive engagement with RICS along with their commitment to the profession. It was a pleasure to be joined by my colleagues Liz Peace, Tina Paillet, FRICS, Nigel Clarke, Sybil Taunton and Annabel Huffer BSc (Hons) MRICS, vice chair of RICS Matrics Hampshire and IOW, who gave such a superb account of this thriving professional community and its achievements in recent months. While we will never stop striving to improve the experience we provide for members, it was a great opportunity to demonstrate the progress we’ve made so far on our transformation journey.
