This Pride Month, we are celebrating the importance of diversity and inclusion. RICS' Rules of Conduct require regulated firms and members to encourage diversity and inclusion. You can attract top talent and strengthen the surveying profession by fostering inclusive environments that welcome everyone. Download the DEI guidance now 👉 http://ms.spr.ly/6049YhJs9

Do wake up . DEI is over - you should be focussing on merit .

Hi, just a quick update, the alleged benefits of DEI turned out to be a hoax. DEI is going out of fashion, the new trend is meritocracy. Regards! https://econjwatch.org/articles/mckinsey-s-diversity-matters-delivers-wins-results-revisited

Whilst DEI awareness is important, my experience has and always will be focussing on skills and experience. Noone is labelled or put in to a box, they are judged by their potential value to the company. We have always championed Women in Surveying, and I have to say, I have never experienced discrimination in the hiring process. #RICS #Womeninsurveying #charteredbuildingsurveyor

The old adage of picking the best person for the job is the best way. Why race or religion or sex is considered important or even something to be proud of when choosing someone for a job is, well, incomprehensible.

Sexual orientation is not something that is normally discussed or identified at the recruitment stage. What is the RICS's advice on how to raise it?
