What is Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity ? At Cannes Lions, the advertising and communications industry meets to celebrate the world’s best work. The festival has been going for over 70 years and the one place you can connect with industry leaders and brands like Meta, Netflix, Pinterest, Spotify, Reddit, The Wall Street Journal and much more. It is the best place to network and talk about your personal brand to potential brand partners and collaborators. Over the next few days we will be highlighting some of the incredible role models like Elizabeth Anyaegbuna and Collette Philip that made it to Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this year. We will also be sharing their story in a child friendly way in our next issue of @cocoagirlmag

Join Our Table Day 1 highlights: Supporting co-founder Chloe Davies and It Takes A Village Collective and community member Flavilla Fongang at LinkedIn Black Joy Brunch. A fab way to kick off Day 1 surrounded by Black Joy. Community welcome drinks at Empower Cafe with Elizabeth Anyaegbuna participating in a panel discussion. We said we would create our own tables and pretty apt for us to have our first dinner in Cannes where the seed for JOT was sown. Join Our Table x Pinterest Manifestival, a private dinner for 20 members of our community with Pinterest's team. A massive thank you to Judy Lee and Pinterest for your allyship and support. We see you!

Vice President, Global Business Unit Leader | Senior Executive, General Manager | Value Creator | Brand Builder | R&D/Operational Excellence
As a mom of two boys, I know first-hand how important it is for moms to prioritize their own self care. This is why I’m so passionate about our Philips Avent’s Share the Care campaign, and I’m pleased that we are taking the themes of our campaign to @CannesLions this year. I am so proud that we are teaming up with the Empower Café, a woman-centric inclusive hub for the creative, media, technology, and advertising industries. Our panel event ’The Reality of Sharing the Care’ is hosted by powerhouse Chloe Davies and I’ll be joined by leading voices from the industry Frank Starling, Sandrine Le Goff. We’ll explore what’s it really like for parents in the industry juggling the pressures of work, career goals, raising children, and finding time for themselves. If you’re at Cannes you don’t want to miss this! Sign up on the link below and join us on the day. Can't wait to see you there! https://lnkd.in/ed6MtFQr #canneslions #workingmothers #workingmoms #worklifebalance #sharethecare #EmpowerCafe24

Join Our Table - The change we wanted to see! A year ago eight Black British women went to Cannes and noticed a lack of representation. Determined to be the change they wanted to see they set about opening up spaces for Black British women across the UK and Global stages. 12 months on, they have delivered on their mission not only creating spaces for women to be visible but awarding three women the opportunity to experience Cannes Lions as delegates. This incredible opportunity has been won by Samantha Almon Adeluwoye Lettija Lee and Lianre Robinson. We look forward to welcoming you and all our community out in Cannes.
