We opened the doors of our little dobbies Stockbridge store last night for a special preview of our brand new terrarium workshop. Our guests were given the opportunity to create their own terrarium displays with Ivyline's beautiful glass planters, under the expert guidance of Dobbies Senior Houseplant Buyer Claire Bishop and Brand Manager Rebecca Stanton. We’re excited to launch an appeal to find our next charity partner. We have a long-standing history of supporting charities and communities at Dobbies and the new partnership, which begins next year, will form a key part of our 160th year celebrations. At Dobbies, we’ve supported Teenage Cancer Trust for the last nine years and we’ve raised an impressive £1.39m for them in this time. As our National Charity Partner, it’s amazing to see the fundraising efforts of colleagues across the business as well as customers making donations. Our Antrim store has some very special visitors on site for the next few weeks! As sponsor of the Really Rubbish Scarecrow competition at Garden Show Ireland, we're excited to welcome this year's entries to our store at The Junction Retail and Leisure Park. The scarecrows, created out of recycled materials by local primary school pupils, will be on display until the end of August. Operations manager Jenny Campbell took part in the judging panel. She said: "Garden Show Ireland was a fantastic opportunity to bring our Little Seedlings Club workshops to visitors from all over Northern Ireland. Community engagement is so important to us at Dobbies and we look forward to welcoming customers to see the fantastic scarecrows for themselves.”

Our popular planting and afternoon tea event is back....with a summer twist! We’re excited to launch our Planting and Afternoon Tea – Holiday Edition experience, to celebrate the start of summer.
