    Videos I posted 2 years ago going viral? Running out of content ideas? Too busy to make more content? Want to up your content game and post more? Here is a hack I’ve been using for a while now I want to share with you. It’s OKAY to reuse content. If you posted a piece of content some time ago that performed really well. It’s likely that if you reposted it, it will perform well again. I know you’re thinking Won’t people get annoyed they have already seen this? 1. The people who did see it aren’t going to remember every detail and if it’s valuable they will happily take the content in again. 2. Not as many people saw it the first time as you think.     Give it all away for FREE! The one that gives away the most free stuff win! I know this might go against what you understand about running or working within a business but let’s take a closer look. Instagram , Facebook , LinkedIn, YouTube all let us use the platform for free! Yet they are the biggest on the planet. Google provides us with a free search engine , google maps among other free tools! Google is one of the biggest companies on the planet. The reason you need to give your best stuff and advice for free is because you position yourself as an expert. You give people a reason to trust you. At the end of the day very few people are really going to take on your advice. Humans are fundamentally lazy. They’d rather just pay you to do it especially if they have the resources.     Start telling stories. I mean it! Story telling is the biggest hack when it comes to marketing. If you want to increase your views , engagement and all the above, start telling stories! Go through your feed right now and look at all the top performing posts on your Tiktok , Instagram, LinkedIn. I can almost garauntee at least 60% of the highest performing posts will be of people telling stories. The reason for this is that when someone is telling a story our brain switches on, it’s far more engaging to be spoken to through a story as opposed to just being spoken to. Tell stories as often as you! You’ll see a massive difference in your social media engagement.

    THE MOST UNDERRATED PEICE OF MARKETING ON SOCIAL MEDIA! Instagram stories. In my opinion, Instagram stories do not get the respect it deserves. It’s a low effort and free way to get hundreds / thousands of eyes on you depending what you do. You can also set up poll, add links to your website , be interactive and quiz your Audience and sooo much more! Everyone reading this I want you to start promoting what you do at least once a day on your Instagram stories in a creative way.     instagram stories are so underrated when it comes to marketing. One of my absolute favourite feature on Instagram when it comes to marketing has to be instagram stories. It’s a real shame more people don’t take it seriously, Think about it, not only can you get hundreds of views on a daily basis with little to no effort. But the stories also have many features that you can use for your benefit. You can set up polls which is great for research and understanding your audience. You can ask them questions which also furthers the understanding of your audience. You can play a quiz and have fun with your audience, And of course you can set up a button link which instantly directs your views which can be in the hundreds of thousands where ever you like, including your website, I have seen first hand my sales increase simply by posting on my story every single day. It’s a low effort and free way to enhance with hundreds / thousands of people on a daily basis. Take advantage of it. The issue in marketing is too many try to overcomplicate.     This is how to get ZERO sales. There’s riches in the niches! If you try sell to everyone you will sell to no one! Two quotes that I whole heartedly agree with. As an entrepreneur it’s tempting to try to sell to everyone however you’ll be making things harder for yourself. Experts make more money than generalists, sales and marketing will become so much easier when you know exactly who you are selling to. Here are a couple things to think about when choosing a niche. 1. How big is the problem you are solving for that niche. 2. Purchasing power, how much money does your niche have. The more money your niche has the more you can charge them. 3. Are they easy to target and is it a growing market. Bonus : Will they be a returning customer.

    How uncomfortable does it make you feel posting it? For me that’s the barometer of a how successful a post will be. The posts that I feel most uncomfortable posting are often the posts that perform the best, By why is this? I think we as humans like to pretend we all live in a perfect world and we are always happy and do go through things. But the reality is , for the most part , the more vulnerable you are the more relatable you are. Because in truth everyone has some form of pain they are dealing with. Being able to open up about your pain is a sign of strength, and is sign you have over come it. In a world where everyone is posting the same old boring stuff, Your vulnerability as way to cut through, and build a deeper connection with your audience and be relatable. If it’s uncomfortable, it usually means it’s different, it’s unique, it’s personal these are the ingredients of a powerful post. Your comfort zone is a beautiful place but there is no growth there.     Some of you are getting this SO wrong! And it’s the reason why your social media posts aren’t doing as well as they could. The video may be incredible, the video edited to perfection, but you are making this one fundamental error! Let’s discuss, HOOKS. The title of your content / videos , the first line of your LinkedIn posts. Hooks are KEY to marketing and have been important long before social media, Magazines would pay people a lot of money to get the title of the magazine right! These people are called copywriters and people still pay a lot of money to hire those people to this day! When making content it’s so important the hook/title is good enough to make people want to actually watch the video, Use powerful and emotive words that spark something in the consumer. Disgust Warning Hate People are naturally risk averse so words with negative connotations will draw in more viewers, Let’s take this example! My editor sent me some content and I loved it, edited to perfection, really high quality video. But He titled it ‘How to build positive habits’ 10 years ago that might have been a good hook, but now there is so much content flying around like that and also unless you really admire me why would you care what I have to say about positive habits. In the video I referenced a very well known blog page called ‘TheShadeBorough’ and how I don’t follow the page because it doesn’t benefit me. I told him change the caption to ‘why I HATE theshadeborough ’ How to build positive habits - - > why I HATE theshadeborough Which do you think a reader is more likely to stop and read? A lot more people will be nosey about why I hate their favourite blog page then care about how I’ve built positive habits.     I have found the magic word you’re all looking for! In the conversations I’ve had over the past few weeks. There is a common theme in what people want. The want to be able to promote things whenever, Whether it be a new scheme , a job opportunity, a product, You want to be able to share these things and have a whole host of people sign up / apply/ purchase with out having to constantly look to external people or resources. Let me tell you what you’re really saying. You want to build a community. And now you’re seeing the real benefits of being able to build a community! Building a community with save you. 1. Times. 2. Money. 3. Blood pressure. Having a community will take so much pressure and stress of you. Once you have a community of people you are naturing you are one social media post or email from every thing you’re asking for. The Gen Z Club , couldn’t sell out its events the way it could if it wasn’t for the community we built. The problem is no one wants to take the time to build a community. My favourite saying I think which ties perfectly with community is this. ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day , but it can’t be destroyed in a day either’ Neither can a strong community.
