Do you know what your purpose is? In fact, have you even stepped back to think about it? And if you did, would you know where to begin? What about your company's purpose? If you don't know your own purpose, how can you know you're contributing the best you can to that goal, and subsequently getting the rewards and fulfilment that follow? We were lucky enough last week to listen to the brilliant Robert Klutse and Jonathan Reid from Purpose Led as they delivered a high-energy and inspirational talk to Deloitte last week, focusing on knowing your gifts and burdens as the key to unlocking your purpose and feeling confident to deliver on it. So if you're looking to find some clarity on how to move you - and your team - forward, look no further 💡 Thanks Izzy Hare, Dhiren Makhecha and Swaiba Saeed as ever for working with us to bring great wellbeing sessions to the always receptive and engaging employees at Deloitte. #wellbeing #mentalhealth #purpose #lyfewellbeing Photo by ün LIU on Unsplash

We built a top 5% most shared podcast and impacted millions of lives... Now it's coming to an end, this is a hard post to write 🥲 Over the last few years, we managed to: ↳ Release 170+ episodes ↳ Gather an audience of 20k+ across our platforms ↳ Reach Spotify top 5% most shared ↳ Be invited by Microsoft, HSBC, Deloitte, IBM to speak to their people ↳ Be invited to speak at schools and universities across the UK ↳ Host 700+ people across all of our community events And... ↳ Win an award at the Ministry of Sound ↳ Build a stronger bond together as brothers ↳ Build a strong bond with our community ↳ Achieve tens and tens of thousands of podcast downloads ↳ Generate nearly 100k YouTube views ↳ Be invited on countless podcasts as guests ↳ Meet countless amounts of AMAZING people along the way ↳ And the list goes on! But, why are we taking a step back from the Purpose Led podcast? Why now? One word: Focus. Robert Klutse and I are prioritising our personal goals, and one of those that we are aligned on is public speaking (one of the pillars of PL)! For context, Purpose Led is comprised of three parts. Here's what will happen to each of them: 1. The Podcast - We will be releasing our last episode today 🥲 2. Speaking Engagements - We will continue to speak at events and in organisations across the country and internationally under the Purpose Led brand 🥳 3. Events - We will be having our LAST event this Saturday in Canary Wharf! (Tickets 👉 https://lnkd.in/esmiXNKG) In other words, we are taking a step back from the podcast to take a step forward to speaking. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey so far, thank you to my brother Robert Klutse, and thank you God for making this all possible!❤️ This is not the end of the story, it's the beginning of the next chapter. Although the chapter has changed, the mission still remains the same, to bring purpose to the world (and back) 🌍😉 p.s. find the link to tickets for our LAST event in the first comment below

🤔 Do you know your *gifts* and your *burdens*?? 🤔 Yesterday I hosted a webinar with Deloitte's #Flourish team, an incredibly energising discussion with Rob & Jonathan from Purpose Led about how combining your unique skills (gifts) and the problems that you see in the world that you want to fix (burdens) = your personal purpose. It was an epic session, which really got us thinking and being vulnerable with each other about what really drives us in work, and in life. Understanding our own personal purpose helps us to make a better connection with our team's purpose and how we make an #ImpactThatMatters everyday too ❤️ Shout out to the Izzy Hare Dhiren Makhecha Swaiba Saeed Alara Kopuz and the whole Flourish team for organising a whole month focused on #purpose. If you were there, let me know your thoughts below 😃 #Deloitte #PersonalPurpose #PurposeLed

3.5 years in the making... WE'VE WON OUR FIRST AWARD! 🏆 But can I tell you the truth? It has not been easy. There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes that people will never see, and that’s ok. Many times Robert and I have had to face a wide range of challenges, but whenever we come across something particularly difficult… We look at each other and say the same thing we always do... “It’s bigger than us” Why do we continue pressing on? Because the vision for Purpose Led is bigger than us. This Community Impact award is more than just a trophy on the shelf It's a symbol of the meaningful connections we've built over the years through our podcast and brand. It's also a testament to the power of Thought Leadership, not just as a title, but as a genuine force for positive change! With said positive change being in the lives of our community. The individuals whose lives we've touched, stories we've shared, and voices we've amplified. Each interaction, each engagement, has contributed to this achievement. Building community is a HUGE part of Thought Leadership. You cannot be a Thought LEADER without anyone to lead... Build an audience, then build community. We've spent years building a relationship with our audience and creating a community out of doing so, and it's paid dividends in more ways than one. Thank you to our Purpose Led audience for nominating us, thank you to VaynerMedia EMEA for selecting us to be the winners of this category, and big thanks to The Gen Z Club for hosting the show 🙌 P.S. I wasn't sure if I should go for a James Bond look or a Men In Black look, so I went somewhere in the middle 😎😂 #thoughtleadership #achievement #awardwinning

Ending a podcast episode does not mean closing the book on your guests, turn these connections and turn in into long-term partnerships! Here's some post podcast etiquette🎙️... 1. Send a thank you message 💬 This is the most basic one, once the mics are off, take a moment to send a personalised thank you note to your guest, it's always nice to feel appreciated 🙌 2. Share the episode with them. That episode is as much your guest's moment as it is yours. If your guest wants to see the episode before it comes out, make sure to send it to them before it releases, and if they don't mind, make sure to send the episode once it's been published! 3. Provide the transcript if requested. The transcript is such a versatile resource that you can give your guests to use as a blog post or social media content. 4. Continue engaging on social media. Social media is a powerful amplifying tool, engaging with your past guests on platforms like LinkedIn can solidify the bond initiated with the podcast, AND potentially drive traffic back to the episode you had together. 5. Invite them back as recurring guests ♻️ When you have good chemistry with your guests, and your audience loves them, instead of wasting that synergy - consider inviting them back again! 6. Look for Collaboration Opportunities 🤝 Collaboration does not just include podcast episodes. It can be a webinar, an event, or a blog. Continue visiting possible opportunities to rekindle that synergy and grow each other's audiences. Why turn these guests into long-term relationships? Here's a few reasons, It will 1. Keep you in contact with some amazing people, 2. allow you to expand your network, and 3. spread the reach of your podcast and personal brand. I could spill more on this later, but for now, drop me a message if you have more questions! P.S. Below is the wonderful Kia Commodore who we invited on our podcast Purpose Led over a year ago and ever since has been just as amazing as she was when we first met her! The picture below is when we had her as our special guest for our personal branding workshop a few months after the recording (she was great!)

We'd just ran another sold out live podcast event and right after we had finished, an attendee quickly came up to me and asked "How are you so confident when you're on stage??" Here's what I said 👇 1. I had a good understanding of what I'd be talking about - When you know what you're talking about, it makes it much easier to speak with confidence because you know what you're saying is correct. 2. I had help from a professional - My friend and co-founder of Purpose Led, Robert Klutse, coaches people and helps them with their confidence and communication skills on a regular basis and he'll always give me tips before and after our events and speaking engagements. 3. There's strength in numbers - If you aren't comfortable with being on stage by yourself, you can have a live panel (like we did later on in the event), so that you at least have company on stage. It's scientifically proven that people feel more confident when they're in a group. Separately, live podcasts and events are a very good way to develop your community and build connections with the people inside of it (I'll do another post on this if people find this one useful) 🚀 Oh and don't forget to vote for me for the "Thought Leader of the Year" award (link in the first comment below)!  #thoughtleadership #thoughtleader #podcast #livepodcast

"Two months ago I may not have been here" 🤯 Impact is the immeasurable metric that we should all be striving for... I am forever humbled by the power of podcasts and thought leadership and the impact they can have on the audience's lives, moments like these are what fuel our passion for what we do with Purpose Led. You may be thinking "But how could I have this kind of impact with what I do?", the answer is transparency and authenticity. Only when you are open to your audience will your audience be truly open to you and this will enable you to establish a connection like this with them. How important is creating impact to you? #Podcasting #ThoughtLeadership #PurposeLed #PositiveImpact #Inspiration
