We’re pleased to share about the launch of the Traffic Priority System (TPS), which provides SCDF emergency ambulances traffic signal priority within the ‘final mile’ to hospitals. Co-developed with Singapore Civil Defence Force and HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency), the TPS uses an in-vehicle electronic transponder to change traffic lights in favour of ambulances at 47 traffic junctions near hospitals. This improves SCDF’s response time in critical situations. Please continue to give way to ambulances and other emergency vehicles to help them reach their destinations quickly.

What an exhilarating and cool experience it was to visit the Universal Studios Singapore (USS) at night! LTA staff and their families enjoyed an exclusive outing to USS during our recent Family Day. This special event brought together colleagues from all our offices for a fun-filled night and thrilling rides under the stars. It was near midnight when we bade farewell to the Transformers and the Mummies, cherishing the newfound memories and connections we made. #LifeatLTA #workhardplayhard

Our East-West Line (#EWL) trains can now turn around faster with the new Pasir Ris rail turnback! #FunFact The turnback uses a diamond crossover track to reduce the time taken for the trains to turn back and run in the other bound. This means that the infrastructure is now in place to provide for reduced headways and shorter wait time between trains, when the need arises. Cheers to greater convenience and connectivity as we continue to improve our rail infrastructure!
