Today AAK presents the interim report for the second quarter. 📃 “Following a strong first quarter, we are pleased to continue progressing towards our 2030 aspiration in the second quarter. We delivered year-over-year volume growth and maintained an operating profit per kilo above two SEK. AAK second best at the IR Magazine Awards for best Annual Report Midcap Europe.   On June 20, AAK joined fellow industry leaders in celebrating the achievements and advancements within the investor relations profession at an awards ceremony in London.   AAK was one of the finalists in the category "Best Annual Report, Midcap Europe", and ended up in a proud second place together with HOWDEN JOINERY GROUP PLC, Unite Students, Workspace Group, and YouGov.   "We are proud of this nomination. Last week, AAK Denmark had the honor of hosting European Parliament Member Niels Fuglsang and Minister of Taxation Jeppe Bruus.  Their visit highlighted the importance of our green transition efforts and sustainability initiatives. 🌍 We're excited to share that our new bio-boilers are almost ready to run at full capacity, cutting over 90% of our CO2 emissions at our Aarhus site. 🍃 These innovative boilers utilize shea meal, a residual product from our oil extraction process, reducing emissions by nearly 50,000 tons of CO2. Transforming the rapeseed supply chain with regenerative agriculture 🌱   Sustainability is a journey, pursued together with others. 🌍 At AAK, we are actively collaborating with our rapeseed suppliers and customers to measure and manage emissions across our supply chain.
