𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: 𝐀𝐀𝐊'𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐍'𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 🌍 The UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aim to tackle global challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and environmental degradation, promoting peace and justice worldwide. These 17 goals serve as a blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all. 🌿AAK has identified ten business-critical SDGs that align with our core sustainability efforts in three key areas: climate, biodiversity, and people. Last week, AAK Denmark had the honor of hosting European Parliament Member Niels Fuglsang and Minister of Taxation Jeppe Bruus.  Their visit highlighted the importance of our green transition efforts and sustainability initiatives. 🌍 We're excited to share that our new bio-boilers are almost ready to run at full capacity, cutting over 90% of our CO2 emissions at our Aarhus site. 🍃 These innovative boilers utilize shea meal, a residual product from our oil extraction process, reducing emissions by nearly 50,000 tons of CO2. This significant step will also move AAK Denmark out of the top 100 list of Denmark's largest CO2 emitters. 🌿Together, we can work towards a more sustainable future. 🌿  #Sustainability #GreenTransition #Innovation #ClimateAction #AAK

Transforming the rapeseed supply chain with regenerative agriculture 🌱   Sustainability is a journey, pursued together with others. 🌍 At AAK, we are actively collaborating with our rapeseed suppliers and customers to measure and manage emissions across our supply chain. As part of our long-term strategy, we support the adoption of regenerative practices to enhance soil health, improve yields, and reduce GHG emissions per metric ton. 🌿   In partnership with farmer cooperatives, we are looking at tailoring these practices to local conditions.   Read more about this and AAK’s sustainability commitments in our sustainability report. 👇 #Sustainability #Agriculture #Innovation #AAK

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming shareholders and guests to the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Quality Hotel View in Hyllie, close to the Malmö headquarters. At the meeting, we updated our shareholders about the progress made during 2023 where we surpassed our target of an average EBIT growth of around 10 percent and showed progress towards delivering on our 2030 aspiration. Our President and CEO, Johan Westman, gave a presentation about AAK’s position to meet current and future market demands.
