Community Health Ally

In Watsonville and the Pajaro Valley, access to healthy food and nutrition education isn’t always easy. For many, it’s a struggle to access nutritious food and know how to make healthy choices. But YOU can make a difference. 

We invite you to become a Community Health Ally. For as little as $5 a month, you can support nutrition education and healthy lifestyles for people in the Pajaro Valley.  

You’ll be part of a community of supporters who are passionate about helping others. Plus, to thank you for your monthly gift, you’ll receive monthly email updates on the impact your donations are making. 

Here are a few of the needs that could be met with your monthly gift of $5, $10, $15, or $25 per month: 

• Frisbees, jump ropes, or other activities to encourage youth to be active 
• Fruits and vegetables for someone suffering from food insecurity and a diet-related illness 
• Glucose test strips for patients learning how to manage diabetes 
• Outreach events staffed by our Promotora/Community Health Worker 
• Community Garden members’ fees, allowing low-income families to grow their own food
