Which is what precisely happened when Perfetti India team Karan Budhiraja and Pragati Nagpal along with our MD Nikhil Sharma, were invited by their Alma Mater, T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal, for an interaction with 2nd year MBA students. After the nostalgic round of reliving their college days, they spent time mentoring students interested in Sales and Marketing. They used some case studies to enunciate brand building initiatives and campaigns and the evolving landscape of E-commerce. We hope students had a fabulous time not only munching on the exciting Perfetti candies and gums but also understanding the depth of R&D and hard-core feet on street work that goes into making a successful brand! Under our Corporate Social Responsibility projects “पर्याvaran” (Environment) and “Pariश्रम” (Community Support), team CSR of Perfetti Van Melle India inaugurated a solar micro power grid at The Earth Saviours Foundation (TESF) in Mandawar, Gurugram. We were honoured to have amongst us Thomas Stassen - CHRO, Group HR, Nikhil Sharma - Managing Director, PVM India and Alessandro Bonelli, CMA - Director Finance, PVM India, who together inaugurated the micro power grids at the NGO’s premises. Last week it was exhilarating at Perfetti Van Melle Bangladesh as we hosted the BU Leadership Team led by our BU President Luca Parodi.   The 3-day visit was an intensive itinerary, encompassing a range of activities such as business meetings, functional reviews, and visits at our manufacturing plant and local markets. Additionally, the schedule included dinners with the team, fostering camaraderie, and providing a well-rounded experience with a touch of enjoyment.    The visit infused a fresh wave of energy into all our operations, thanks to the insightful guidance and contributions of the BU Leadership team. PVM Bangladesh recently teamed up with the Industrial Relation Institute (IRI), Department of Labor to conduct a highly informative five-day training session from May 26th to 30th. The objective was to enhance knowledge and awareness of several key aspects of Bangladesh Labor Laws. This exclusive training, designed in collaboration with IRI, covered topics such as Conditions of Employment, Working Hours and Leave, Compensation for Accidents, Maternity Benefits, Misconduct, Trade Unions, CBA Activities, Participation Committees, and Occupational Health. These sessions provided our workers with a comprehensive overview of essential information on Bangladesh Labor Law that every worker should know.
