Our latest Strategy & Leadership newsletter is out, and it starts of with an in-depth interview with Carlos Núñez, president and CEO of Prisa Media group in Spain, also the publisher of El País. 👉 He talks about how the group's business model is evolving, particularly its digital subscriptions development. El País has 350,000 dig subscribers, and the group is now looking at different tiers to maximise growth and engagement. 👉 He also shares how Prisa is thinking outside the box regarding advertisng. Núñez proposes a plan that would incorporate democratic sustainability into the sustainability criteria of ESG factors. This would incentivise advertisers to invest in quality media to support them and improve their ESG profile in the process. 👉 He touches on Prisa's recent partnership with OpenAI and how that will impact their AI implementations going forward. https://lnkd.in/d9kBSD6J

Spoke with Neha Gupta about the Newslaundry app, our accessibility work and how a subscription model enables product innovation. Independent digital newsrooms rarely make it as product case studies. There is still a long way to go, but so proud of our team 💪 Thank you, WAN-IFRA, the World Association of News Publishers for the feature Story link in the comment.
