Minister of State at the Department of Transport, James Lawless, today helped launch a report on Cork Airport’s economic impact which showed the airport contributed to the employment of more than 12,650 people and over €1 billion to the Irish economy in 2023 alone. Helping him launch the Cork Airport Economic Impact Study at the #airport were Ireland’s EU Commissioner Designate, Michael McGrath TD, and Tourism Ireland's Chief Executive, Alice Mansergh.
