Administrative Specialist
This position is responsible for independently performing high-level administrative support for the Parent Giving, Research & Prospect Management, and Donor Relations & Stewardship departments within the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. This position plays a critical role for the team by assisting three areas with multiple departments supporting development efforts across the division and campus, including schools and colleges.
Assistant Director of UGAF Gift Accounting
The Assistant Director of UGAF Gift Accounting is responsible for overseeing the gift entry operations of the UGA Foundation’s (UGAF) Gift Accounting department housed in the Division of Development & Alumni Relations (DAR). The incumbent provides critical support to DAR by ensuring the accurate and timely entry of gifts to the University of Georgia. A thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and systems are necessary.
Associate Director, Employer Relations - UGA Career Center
The Associate Director of Employer Relations reports to the Director of Employer Relations. This individual is responsible for managing relationships with both existing employers and potential new employers, actively engaging the career consultant team in employer relations functions, and leading a team of career consultants. They serve the Employer Relations team by managing processes for communication and information sharing on employer relations report and data analytics efforts. They manage the employer outreach and communications processes for several events attracting hundreds of employer and student participants. They also serve on the Career Center’s administrative leadership team, assisting with office-wide decision-making, strategy, logistics, and operations oversight.
Associate Director of Business Analytics
The Associate Director of Business Analytics, reporting to the Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics, is responsible for overseeing and delivering business analytics solutions that advance and support the mission of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). This includes managing one or more direct reports, collaborating with key stakeholders across the divisions to identify and deliver key projects, creating and maintaining analytic dashboards and custom data models, overseeing the business strategy for data analytics and reporting, managing data sources and data validation, and leading projects related to data analytics. The focus is on delivering valuable insights and decision-making support to the division through effective data management and analysis, while managing and developing a team to achieve the division’s goals.
Associate Director of UGA Foundation Internal Control and Risk Management
The role of this individual is to provide overall direction and leadership of the internal control and risk management functions of the UGA Foundation (UGAF). The work will include managing the effectiveness of internal controls, operational procedures and risk through audit test work and overall risk management of the UGA Foundation financial records.
Business Intelligence Associate
Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Intelligence this position is responsible for delivering reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence solutions, as defined by the Associate Director of Business Intelligence that support the mission of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations.
Business Systems Analyst
The Business Systems Analyst is a key role within the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR), reporting to the Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics. This position collaborates with management, stakeholders, and team leads to provide valuable recommendations and assist in the implementation of technical solutions, quality control projects, and business process improvements.
Creative Director
This position is the driving creative force behind the Division of Development & Alumni Relations Communications team (DARCOMM). This employee leads a sub-team within the DARCOMM department within the Division of Development & Alumni Relations (DAR) and reports to the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications.
Digital Experience Officer (DXO)
The Donor Experience Officer (DXO) will manage a large portfolio of donors with the goal of building lasting relationships and creating meaningful experiences through engaging communications and one-on-one interactions. The DXO will connect donors to the University and its schools, colleges, departments, and divisions. They will solicit gifts primarily between $250 and $24,999 and develop personalized strategies for increasing year-over-year retention and upgrade of donors while also looking for referrals to build a pipeline for major gift referrals.
Director of Business Engagement
Expenditure Data Analyst
Reporting to the Associate Director of Expenditure Control, this position is responsible for complex reconciliations, review and analysis of expenditures and payments made by the UGA Foundation (UGAF). This includes reviewing, verifying, and evaluating all expenditures, including direct payments, scholarships, and grants.
Regional Director of Development, Atlanta
The Regional Program is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with alumni and friends to raise major gifts for the University of Georgia. The Regional Directors of Development build a culture of philanthropy in regions across the country while strengthening affinity for the University. Through travel to various territories, Regional Directors provide strategic direction and leadership for UGA’s alumni and friends as they make philanthropic and volunteer decisions across the university. This Regional Director’s assigned region includes cities across Metro Atlanta. Though subject to change based on institutional priority, this position may include other regions to be determined as needed.
Senior Director of Development, College of Veterinary Medicine
The Senior Director of Development serves as a liaison between the College of Veterinary Medicine (Vet Med) and University Development. As the College’s chief development officer, this position is responsible for raising major gifts ($25,000+) to enable the unit to fulfill its mission and implement its programs and initiatives. In addition to major and principal gifts, the position is also responsible for providing strategy, leadership, direction, coordination, and management of all levels of giving for Vet Med, including major giving, annual gifts, stewardship, and alumni relations.
Senior Regional Director of Regional Programs
The Senior Regional Director position is a key fundraising leadership position in Development and Alumni Relations. This Athens-based position will have significant leadership responsibilities for the regional programs team and will act as a key contributor to the strategic planning and vision for the team. This is a blended management and fundraising position as it oversees frontline fundraising team members who are both based in Georgia and across the country and also carries a fundraising portfolio.
System Administrator
This position reports to the IT Manager and provides oversight of and maintenance for the functionality of Development & Alumni Relations’ (DAR) computing systems. This includes maintaining, configuring, and setting up servers or ERP solutions, user setup and data access into the Donor System and UGA Foundation (UGAF) Financial ERP, has database management responsibilities to ensure availability and integrity of Foundation financial data, as well as ensuring data backups are viable.
Talent Management Coordinator
The Talent Management Coordinator is an integral part of the Talent Management team and is responsible for assisting the Senior Director Talent Management as well as other departmental team members with project tracking, event planning, administrative processes related to talent recruitment and acquisition, office administrative support, and communication of the goals, initiatives, and programs managed by the Office of Talent Management.
UGA Foundation Functional Lead
This position’s primary responsibility is to serve as functional lead for UGA Foundation’s financial system implementation. The role involves close collaboration with the project manager, other project leads, and Foundation and Advancement IT staff to successfully configure and launch the new financial system. Demonstrated experience with analytics tools and software proficiency are required, while knowledge of accounting principles and general programming and scripting skills are preferred. The incumbent is expected to adhere to confidentiality and exhibit high standards of professionalism, initiative, critical thinking, sound judgment, consistent output, timeliness, and ability to prioritize.
