Presentation & identity AMCAD is a provider of new RF & Microwave solutions for advanced design. AMCAD delivers at every stage of the product lifecycle, critical services needed to ensure the greatest optimization of performance and time-to-market. Areas of excellence: - Characterization and advanced modeling of RF & microwave component/circuits (Amplifier, transistors, MEMS, diodes, passive components etc.) - Development of turn-key measurement solutions - Design of integrated RF & microwave circuits Component characterization and modeling are crucial steps to perform optimal circuit designs. AMCAD offers the most advanced solutions in RF/microwave engineering (pulsed IV DC/RF, Load-Pull benches, etc.) These measurements enable advanced and accurate modeling tasks of passive and active components that yield accurate simulations and speed up your product development. These complete (nonlinear, electro-thermal), powerful and easy-to-use models are implemented in the customer's EDA tools.

    We are pleased to announce that AMCAD Engineering has been acquired by Dassault Systèmes, joining its SIMULIA brand, dedicated to delivering science-based multiscale, multiphysics modeling and simulation solutions that enable companies to accelerate the development of safe, reliable, and sustainable products. This move aligns with the mission of AMCAD Engineering to streamline design processes and lower prototyping expenses by making measurement, modeling and simulation more accessible to RF and Microwave circuit-system designers throughout the development process. AMCAD Engineering’s software products, including IVCAD, VISION IQSTAR, and Whiteboard, are now part of the SIMULIA brand. For 20 years, AMCAD ENGINEERING has been at the forefront of addressing our customers’ measurement, modeling and simulation challenges of RF components and circuits. Initially established as an engineering services company, our expertise in precise modeling based on reliable and unique measurement data has become the cornerstone of our comprehensive software suite for accurately designing and optimizing the performance of microwave circuits. ‘’I am very pleased to welcome the AMCAD team to the SIMULIA brand of Dassault Systèmes. AMCAD will complement our brand’ leading multiphysics / multiscale simulation solutions by adding the modeling and characterization capabilities for the active network,’’ states Peter Hammes, Senior Director of SIMULIA R&D Technology at Dassault Systèmes. ‘’Their industry knowledge and expertise will help our customers achieve their product performance objectives and extend our brand’s capabilities in the radio frequency simulation market.’’ As part of the acquisition agreement, the AMCAD “Hardware” business unit, including the Pulse IV System, Automatic Test Equipment, and other hardware solutions, was transferred to AMCAD SAS, a newly established company. AMCAD SAS will remain under the umbrella of the CGD Group, which includes its sister companies, WUPATEC and ITEST. AMCAD SAS and the CGD Group will also continue to manage the EXOCIS activity, which involves distributing and integrating third-party hardware solutions from MPI, X-Microwave, Microsanj, Maury, and other partner hardware products. Starting from May 30, 2024, AMCAD SAS will handle all hardware-related business. Dassault Systèmes and AMCAD SAS have entered into a partnership agreement to ensure current and futurecompatibility and optimization of their respective software and hardware. As of May 30, 2024, AMCAD Engineering, now a Dassault Systèmes company, will focus solely on its software business. The combined AMCAD Engineering and SIMULIA teams are committed to delivering and supporting comprehensive, end-to-end modeling and simulation solutions to accelerate the development of wireless communication systems for civil, aerospace, and defense applications.

    Meet AMCAD at booth #1539 at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) conference in Washington, DC, on June 18th 📍 Come and explore a dedicated test bench created by our hardware team to optimize the power combining of parallel amplifiers! This demonstration is one of the many solutions we develop daily for our customers. For the past two years, our team has been creating automated test benches, like the one shown in the picture below, recently delivered to one of our clients. 🤝 In this application, IQSTAR software controls all the elements (power wattmeter matrix, switch matrix developed by AMCAD, pressure sensors, humidity and temperature sensors, power supplies, vector network analyzers, vector signal analyzer) to automate testing and measurement reports in a production environment, as a turnkey solution! Our customers are now using tools for unrivaled efficiency and measurement accuracy.
