🥳Let's celebrate the Minas wind farm's anniversary! 📍 Located in Lavalleja, #Uruguay, with its 14 Vestas V112 wind turbines, each rated at 3.0 MW, the Minas wind farm generates a total output of 42 MW, avoiding the emission of 1,800 tonnes of CO2 every year. A key player in the fight against climate change. 🔌 By supplying a large proportion of the electricity needed by the department of Lavalleja, it has helped Uruguay to generate 91% of its electricity from renewable sources in 2022, playing a crucial role in the transformation of the national energy landscape! 🌞🔌 Invest in Greece's energy transition with Akuo! 🌍 Akuo launches a crowdfunding campaign for 4 solar power plants located in Thessaly, Greece. It is the first campaign since AkuoCoop and Lendosphere joined forces, and it is the opportunity for AkuoCoop to open up to the international market. 🌿 This initiative enables all European citizens to participate in the refinancing of the Thessaly solar farm, thus becoming active players in the European energy transition. With a total output of 4 MWp, the 4 plants produce 6.3 GWh annually which is the equivalent to the consumption of 570 households. The Thessaly solar farm prevents the emission of 2,100 tonnes of CO2 every year. 📸 Retour en images sur le Salon Seanergy 2024 ! Les 2 jours passés à SEANERGY BY BLUESIGN ont été marqués par de nombreux échanges riches et fructueux. Comme toujours, l'événement a été une formidable occasion de rencontrer les acteurs clés du secteur et de partager notre vision pour l'avenir des énergies marines renouvelables. Clément Mochet, Directeur de projets chez EOLYMAR, a fait un excellent pitch sur le développement de l'éolien flottant en Méditerranée. Laura Galliano, Consents and stakeholders Analyst chez BlueFloat Energy, a également présenté sa thèse sur le co-usage dans les parcs éoliens, intitulée « Éolien flottant et co-utilisation de l’espace maritime : aspects juridiques ». Walid Oulmane, Responsable Industrialisation et Supply chain chez BlueFloat Energy, a présenté sa vision sur les solutions innovantes aux défis actuels tels que les pénuries de matières premières, les pressions sur les coûts et les contraintes d'espace. L'enthousiasme et l'intérêt suscités par ces interventions montrent bien l'importance de l'innovation et de la collaboration dans notre secteur. 💡 Empowering Women and Innovating Agriculture: Akuo’s #Agrivoltaics Journey in Poland   🎙️ On June 18, Blanche de Talhouët-Roy, Vice Director of the Akuo Foundation, showcased our innovative approach to agrivoltaism at a conference focusing on “Women and #agriculture, leaders of innovation and entrepreneurs of the living world”, hosted by the French Embassy in Poland.   Our agrivoltaics projects, which combine farming and power generation, not only promote sustainable energy production but also empower women in entrepreneurship while addressing the urgent need to adapt to climate change, which are important themes supported by the Akuo Foundation.    Poland’s strong interest in agricultural innovation, such as agrivoltaics, presents an opportunity for us to collaborate and create virtuous synergies in the transition to a more sustainable energy and agricultural system.    🤝 Akuo stands ready to support Poland in reaching its renewable energy goals and facilitating its energy transition.   Thank you Blanche for your participation, we are proud to contribute to Poland's sustainable future!   #Renewableenergy #Energytransition
