Very nice, polite and friendly staff.
The hotel is well-kept and internally very nice, with lots of little touches like hand gel dispensers by the elevators.
Fantastic cleanliness, comfortable, soundproof, and quite spacious room with a large window, equipped with smart TV, electrical outlets at both bedside tables, mini-bar (not filled), air conditioner, kettle with sachets of herbal teas, coffee, and sugar. There is a huge mirror at the entrance of room 203 and also in the bathroom. Everything working and in very good condition. Very comfortable bed.
Special mention for breakfast: very nice setup, really tasty food, good variety, and choice changing daily, both sweet and salty. Delicious tortilla, a must-try.
Bathroom with a bidet and bathtub and accessorized with the hair dryer and soap dispensers (no mini disposable sachets!) The only shame about the lack of an aerator/window in the bathroom.
Excellent value for money.
We were delighted, if we go back to Barcelona, we would stay here again.
Almost a shame we spent a short time in the hotel ;)
For the tram to get to catalunya was super easy, literally 10mins to the last stop and then you were central walking distance to everything, really good tip!
Rooms were always cleaned to a high standard and breakfast was plenty full, good Spanish omelette and crackin bacon! We even went back earlyish one evening and had a few beers before bed, 2euros a pint! It ended with a few more beers and a lot of laughs from us! Had so my fun!
My last thank you is to say, I left a very dear denim jacket at the hotel with a number of pin badges that I have collected over the years of my travels and upon realising what I had done, the hotel staff helped me get it couriered back over to the UK, putting me at ease and staying in contact with me throughout the process! It arrived home today and to say I’m relieved is an understatement!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
you can sit outside and have a few drinks if you wish. The dining room looked lovely but we didn’t have breakfast so cannot review that unfortunately.
The hotel is excellently positioned for the metro literally a 2 min walk then it takes you straight to La rambla which is 5 stops away and takes 10 minutes at the very most.
So easy to use.
If you’re looking for a great hotel in a quiet area then book this hotel it is just fab !!!
The only downside was the tea and coffee sachets would be nice if replaced daily in the room
The price is a bit on the higher side though considering it is situated a bit away from the touristy areas. They have a nice restaurant but with a limited menu :-(
If you love peace and tranquiity and do not mind travelling 20 mins by metro to the main tourist locations...then you can stay in this hotel.
The room was very clean and tidy, there was enough space for 2 people, the bed was very comfortable.
The location of the hotel was very convenient as it was in a quiet area, 3-4 minutes walk from the metro station.
The staff is very friendly, special mention to Maria and Mo at the restaurant/bar service and Nadia in reception. They were absolutely amazing.
The only reason I don’t give the 5 star is because the rooms are a bit dated and need a touch of live & attention.
I will be coming back on my next trip to Barcelona.
The rooms are very comfortable and have recently been refurbished. The water machines, kettle and fridge came in handy. I’d definitely stay there again
Rooms were cleaned daily, even if we left the hotel around, or after, lunchtime.
Individual rooms could have used more noise dampening, as we could hear neighboring guests talking during nights.
It's still probably one of the most pleasurable hotel stays I've had in the past 10 years of traveling. Definitely beats Ibis chain.
When I visit Barcelona the next time, I'll most likely to Atiram again.
"Not many restaurants in vicinity for the more picky eaters. On quite a steep hill, manageable but steep."Read full review

"Great for exploring as it’s close to transport links. We found a lot of restaurants not open Sunday and Monday. "Read full review
