- OldBearWigan, UK11,029 contributionsThe resort where we stayed is on the Lake which provides lovely views, especially the sun sets.
There are plenty of sailing yachts and boats on the lake. It is man made and there are areas that have ‘artificial’ sandy beaches. It is about 48 kilometres in length and has a maximum depth of 38 metres.
There is plenty of wildlife to see such as Herons, Egrets,Kingfishers, Falcons, and Capybaras.
There are 3 bridges that cross this huge lake the most notable is the JK ( Juscelino Kubitschek) Bridge built in 2002.
The highlight of any visit must be the sunset!Written 30 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Its full 360 degrees view to all audience but the maintenance is not great.Written 16 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcos CBrasilia, DF572 contributionsAs the title says A Little Hard to Find But Worth It and indeed it was. I know from experience that a lot of out of the way places in Brazil are not well mark and can be hard to find. I basically knew which direction to go and and as I got closer just started asking locals where the waterfalls are and I eventually found it. The trek down to the falls are rocky in places so be careful if it rains, also there's a small worn out bridge you have to cross so be careful when crossing I slipped when I first step on it. But other than that the place in amazing and excellence to just to sit and unwind and enjoy nature at it best.Written 6 June 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PabloCFBrasilia, DF221 contributionsIt's an old, well maintained, children park. Most of people are under 15 years old or their parents. It's a 2 to 3 hour tour. There are not so much food options, the restrooms are very simple e sometimes clean.
DO NOT play at target toys. They are all set not to win. Ok, all parks are, but this specific one are the worst I've ever been.
There are some toys for under 8 y.o. but not much.Written 17 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcos CBrasilia, DF572 contributionsNice Relaxing little getaway that's near Brasilia, about 50mins from Asa Norte. There are two sides to this place, one that is called Poço Azul and on the other side they just call it The Cachoeiras or Waterfalls. When you enter in if you take the trail to the right it goes to the waterfalls a 1km walk and the trail to the left goes to Poço Azul a 2km walk. Both spot are nice to take in. Poço Azul seems to attract more people than the waterfall side in part because you have one large pool for swimming and diving. The final walk down to get to Poço Azul is steep and rocky so be careful and if it rains it can get quite slippery since the rocks are smooth.Written 13 June 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EdwardWilfredBelem, PA55 contributionsActually it´s location is in the State of Goias, but near the Federal District. Is a great place for weekends with children. But food and drinks are rather expensive and it is not allowed to bring from outside the park.Written 3 August 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maisie WWorthing, UK1 contributionVisited here twice during my visit to Brasilia. The staff are absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. There is a lovely gentleman who speaks very good English and it made my life a lot easier. It is a very reasonable price for a sun lounger and access to all water sports such as paddle boarding. It is very relaxing and feels like a beach holiday even tho you are miles away from the nearest beach. There is also the option to buy food and drink when there. Brilliant, I couldn't recommend it more!Written 29 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- David T7 contributionsWe went on a Saturday evening without booking. The staff were able to squeeze us in, despite it being very busy. Good selection of drinks (they've even got a half decent IPA) and the bowling equipment was flawless.Written 17 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Me and my 13 year-old son have canoyneering with them through this waterfalls and canyions of chapada imperial and we had a great time. Safety has also been their first priority and I recommend anyone from beginner to experienced to join their trips.Written 27 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
