Today is #WorldEnvironmentDay. Making this world a better place and protecting and preserving it for future generations is what Sysmex strives for, guided by the principles of its corporate philosophy, the ‘Sysmex Way’. For more than 10 years, Sysmex Europe has attached great importance to this topic and has been certified. For this reason, our products and manufacturing processes become increasingly efficient and sustainable to reduce potential risks to the environment. Our reagent production, for example, benefits from a rooftop photovoltaic system for electricity generation and a solar ice system for heating and cooling. In addition, Sysmex encourages its employees to get involved in sustainability, as it is often the little things that create a greener future. We do our bit through engagement, awareness campaigns, communication, regular mandatory training and much more. In May, we planted 1,500 trees and supported reforestation, collected rubbish around our sites in Hamburg and Norderstedt and organised collection and donation campaigns for the environment.
