    I want to close off this week with this throwback. I attended the DX3 Showcase 2024, the leading Retail, Marketing, and Technology Event in Canada. It was fantastic connecting with industry leaders and exploring innovative approaches to drive growth. Here are My Favorite 3 Panel and Why 1. A Day with CMOs by Roshni Wijayasinha, CM, MBA, Johnny Russo, Stephen Bailey, and Tanbir Grover, MBA I recently learned about the concept of a Fractional CMO in my latest job role. I was already in awe of the concept, and hearing the panel of CMOs spend their days handling multiple responsibilities, from strategic planning to operations and analytics, while focusing on key areas and ROI amidst challenges, was beyond imaginable. As someone in the early stages of my career, I sometimes get tired or annoyed juggling between two jobs, handling studies, and personal life. But hearing the panel made me realize there is much more you have to do if you want to make a meaningful impact. 2. The Social Media Impact by Rania Walker, Jake Karls, Cesar Morales and Daniel Francavilla The panel discussed how to use social media for marketing and building your brand and how authenticity, transparency, and two-way communication, act as key elements for success in engaging audiences and building meaningful connections. Key takeaways- - Stay true to your brand's voice and values to connect with your audience on a deeper level. - Share both successes and challenges to foster meaningful connections with your audience. - Invite your audience behind the scenes and actively engage with their feedback to build a loyal community and gain valuable insights. - Invest in one platform and scale up while being agile and adaptive to changes in the digital landscape. -Encourage founders to be the face of the brand to build trust and credibility with your audience. 3 Panel: Chatting about ChatGPT & AI by Mark Simone, Erin Reynolds Ally Wesson, Daniel Francavilla No wonder AI is taking over the world, but it is here to make your jobs easier, not to take them away from you. The panel discussed how they are utilizing AI tools to brainstorm ideas for content generation. They discussed how to maximize the effectiveness of these tools by using prompts and how these tools have helped them pivot their original ideas for better ones. Key takeaways: -ChatGPT is a starting point for AI-generated content, there are other tools as well. -Prioritize curiosity over experience when hiring, as many AI tools leading today didn't exist five years ago, fostering an innovative organizational culture. -Avoid copying and pasting AI-generated content; always fact-check and edit. -AI can get you from 0 to 40%. The key is to reinvest that time you spend into doing more research and solving more problems and solving them better. It was an enriching experience, and I'm excited to implement these insights into my work. #DX3Showcase #RetailTech #IndustryInsights
