The child of Dune Duster.
How apophenic... 2 out of 4!

More like a 1 out of 3 (builds) ;)
Anyhow, dune buggy are certainly a very popular vehicle as seen by the dune buggy tag.
Easier just to put this down here instead of listing sets :

I don't even remember this set existing.
Are we sure that Huwbot isn't just trolling us, sometimes?
It all makes sense now. They had to make sure the dune was dust-free so this guy wouldn’t slip and hurt himself when hopping on it.
I don’t know why but this makes me think of KFC.
I had this one! Went vroom vroom!
@GSR_MataNui: In your mind, or did you motorize it?
Ummm...someone wanna' "hit" Huwbot; he's seem to be stuck in a "Goto 10" situation...:sorry: "Basic" Humor :D.

It's the red and white stripes, I can't unsee it now too.
If it plans to hop anywhere it better have more suspension than it seems to

IIRC the rear wheels have (very basic) suspension: the dark grey lift arm rotates around the grey pin, while the black pins are connected to the chassis using elastic bands.
To be honest, it looks like a B model of another, different car set.
I guess that just goes to show how overdone the dune buggy is as an alt model.
I mostly recognize it as being from a certain set lineup where it was the most forgettable out of all of the other sets that year. Like 'yeah, that sure is another car on the same price bracket as all those other cars before it and after it with no interesting colors, parts or building techniques!'
Pretty neat.
I owned this set and built three alternative models out of it - you can see them here: http://buildinst.cz/en/catalog/detail/27
It may not look like much (well, it looks like 137 pieces :), but it's actually a lot of fun IRL. At least IMHO. It's possibly my favorite less than 200 pieces Creator set.
And indeed the rear wheels do have something like a suspension.
I didn't know agent Hopper played a part in 'Dune'?
Had this one as a kid and really enjoyed it. It’s completely disassembled now but the two rubber bands still frequently show up in MOCs of mine!
This looks like a nice set with great parts. I just cannot fit them anywhere, you know. It's not city, and it's not Technic. These sets don't really have consistent scale. So they are mostly parts pack to me.
Ok, still going to list this here : 31123 : Off-Road Buggy is the current year's version of a 3-in-1 Dune Buggy , which follows a trend of Quad Bike / Buggy 3-in-1 over the past 12+ years (starting with 5893 : Off-Road Power)
The skid loader of the 2022 set is a more unique alternate build but also not the first time that's done as 31046 : Fast Car has done that before, in a yellow color scheme that's a bit more fitting for City construction at least. (in real world construction vehicle colors are more determined by manufacturer)
The latest City version of a buggy found in 60288 : Race Buggy Transporter was only available for 1 year, but I have built the set and it's a nice buggy with a bit more unique color with Magenta.
(interestingly enough LEGO put magenta speed champion wheel covers in an architecture set this year https://brickset.com/parts/6374116 21057: Singapore)
@lORDoFtHEbOARD:
I didn’t know Hopper got cast in Stranger Things after being driven away by Flik and the Circus Bugs.
After these two days in a row I somehow just felt the urge to listen to this song for the first time in over two decades: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzJkXo-tTNY
But sadly, wrong color....
Never heard that POTUS song before. Kinda catchy - and very on topic!
